For the official start of summer, Molly, Riley, and I headed to the beach for Memorial Day weekend.
We took Riley out for a walk…
And then we went for a bike ride.
The fire department was giving away free bike lights, so we swung by and got some.
From there we checked out a new restauratnt, Victoria’s Crab House.
They had only been open for a couple of weeks, and the food was just OK.
They seem to be a Ravens bar, however.
We went for a romantic walk on the beach…
And found a dead puffer fish.
Sunset that night hanging out with Eddie.
Saturday morning vinyl.
We decided to go for a walk…
And do some shopping.
For lunch, we tried another new place, Touch of Mediterranean.
It was REALLY good. Make sure to try the baklava.
Molly bought this for her mother.
As you can see, Molly’s hair was long…
So while she got it cut, I went next door to Scotty’s Bayside Tavern.
I played, and lost, at Keno.
But with Molly almost done, it was time to go.
More shopping at Ish…
And then back out to the beach. A nice shot of the condo.
We have a rule of touching the water every trip.
Which always results in sandy feet.
Dinner is ready!!!
After dinner treats at another new place, Dodo Eddible Cookie Dough & Ice Cream.
It was as delicious as you might imagine.
Molly opted for ice cream.
The next morning we had to work…
But made sure to have fun after working.
We love the food at Rare & Rye.
It was a great day to be at the beach.
For dinner that night, we took an Uber to…
The Shark, in West O.
A fun view of the harbor.
Some clams…
And other seafood treats.
Great food, for sure!!!!
It started pouring down rain when we got home…
But Molly didn’t care.
Before leaving the next day, we stopped by the Hitlon pool deck bar.
THe view is great…
And our friend Otto was playing music.
I do miss doing live music photograpy, but I just don’t have the time anymore.
Traffic was really bad on the way home, so we stopped at the outlets.
And new wine bar had opened, so we had some treats…
Took Riley for a quick walk…
And then made the rest of the trip home to end the weekend.
