Heading to Amsterdam for a work gig and I’m flying direct on KLM.
I was there for the first ever Port25 Summit, and this was the topic on which I was presenting.
I love flying KLM.
I left Sunday night and arrived early Monday morning. Redeye for me.
The street outside the hotel.
My mother would like the door knocker on my room.
The room was very posh.
The view, not so much.
Cool bathroom.
I went for a walk and this was across from the main train station.
If you’ve never been, there are bikes EVERYWHERE.
Not the beer I’m looking for…
But this one will do.
Being it was a Port25 Summit, Jörg and Robert came along.
All three of us love beer.
I love the architecture in Amsterdam.
There is something disturbing about their logo.
But the fries are really good.
We met up with Port25 co-founder, Juan, and walked around for a bit.
Of course we happened to find a good beer place to stop at.
American, but really good.
Another stop, this time for a German beer.
Cheers!!!
This was a very small bar.
For a late dinner, we headed to Van Kaantjes Tot Kaviaar.
We met up with Josh and Barry there.
YUM!!!
It’s legal here.
The next day it was time for the summit.
I was sitll working on my presentation in the back.
The agenda for the day.
Our sponsors.
After the event, we had the attendees participate in a cocktail making competition.
After that, we all headed out to Bier Fabriek.
A great place that made their own beer.
It seems I forgot to take pictures the rest of the night, so this is me in a cab on the way to the airport.
Well that’s all for this work trip. Thanks KLM for the good food on the way home.
