Heading to Lisbon for work, and my flight was delayed 2 hours.
So I made use of the time by having a beer and doing some work.
I shared a taxi in Lisbon with a co-worker, and two brands of my company are represented in backback form.
My inital room was ok, but there was a LOT of noise as they were doing construction on my floor.
Make note of this view for later.
After getting settled into the room, I stepped outside to get a beer.
I also took that time to hold my weekly meeting for my team.
The beer that is everywhere in Lisbon.
The food was great.
I had dinner with the co-founders of the company…
And then we headed out for a walk around the city.
There was an annual festival going on.
Lots of parties and parades.
The atmosphere was very fun filled.
The conference’s schedule of events for the week.
Although, I was only there to help facilitate a workshop with Juan, a co-founder of my company.
Afterwards, it was time to eat.
My room was way too noisy, so I was moved to a nicer one-bedroom suite.
I actually had two bathrooms!!

Before heading out to dinner.
This was our view for dinner.
After dinner we went stubling around Lisbon.
We hit a jazz club for some good live music before retiring for the night.
I made use of my room to get some work done the next day…
Then it was off for a night out at the local stadium.
There were games to play…
And old friends to catch up with.
Afterwards, we went for another tour of the city by foot.
We found our way to a speakeasy with great cocktails.
And then decided it was late and time to head home.
The next morning I was on my plane…
And heaed home from another work trip.
