Molly and I went to the airport togther to part ways. She took the train to DC, and I was on my way to Seattle.
My hotel was very nice…
With a good sized bathroom, too.
My view was directly facing Lake Union.
I love bringing home the good soaps from hotels when I travel.
I needed some dinner so I went for a walk.
Duke’s wasn’t too far away.
I ended up eating there a lot on the trip as the food was REALLY good.
I did a run my first morning in Seattle.
Just an out and back of 5 miles.
A little wake up juice before starting the work day.
After work, it was back to Duke’s.
If you’re ever in th area, you should go, the food is great!!!
Before work, again.
I saw this and thought of Molly. She is from New Mexio aand that symbol is on their state flag.
This is the Seattle office for my company.
This is a great beer store that lets you create your own 6 packs…
So I did!!!!
I had seen the Space Needle all week, so I decided to go visit.
Just a local landmark.
I arrived and got my ticket.
The view from the top.
Different view.
They had camera that took a picture of you and emailed it to you.
It’s funny seeing these shops in town. I’m sure it won’t be long before it’s legal in every state.
Guess where I went for dinner?
One night I took my team out to dinner at Brouwer’s Cafe.
It was a really cool place…
That had a great beer selection.
Love this shirt!!
The little boy is dressed like hops.
Afterwards I went across the street to Add-A-Ball.
It’s a pinball place that serves beer, too.
On my last day at work, a co-worker brought in a beer for me, so we had some at the end of the day.
Relaxing in the hotel hot tub on my last night.
I decided to go someplace new for dinner.
And on a recomendation, went to The Wurst Place.
They, of course, sold suasages (mine was veggie).
On the way home the next day, this was lunch in Chicago.
Well, that’s all for this trip.
