Molly and I hopped on a train one evening to head to DC.
President Trump was getting inaugurated, and there were protests all over DC.
We meet up with her mom, who was in town for the Women’s March.
You couldn’t walk anywhere around where Molly lives without seeing signs of the protests and riots.
We had dinner that night before getting ready for the march the next day.
Lots of people were wearing thier pussy hats.
Using her camera to include me in the picture.
There were lots and lots of people.
It started to get very difficult to move around.
There were alos lots and lots of signs.
Look at all the pussy hats.
This is a shot of a 2 block area. The crowds were so large the march route had to be changed because the crowd completely filled in the original route. There was no where to go!
It took almost an hour to get across the Mall.
Everyone was marching to the White House.
We finally reached a point where the sea of people was beginning to thin out.
It was a very uplifting day.
Everyone was leaving their signs behind. Also, find Molly.
Afterwards, it was time for a hot meal.
The march was great, but it was time for me to head home on the train.
