With only 2 days until Christmas…
I wrapped all the gifts…
And headed over to my brother’s house.
I picked up the kids…
And took them home with me for the night.
We looked at Christmas lights and a Christmas train garden…
And then headed to Aida Bistro for the Feast of the Seven Fish.
Kelli and Sarah were also having dinner there that night.
The next morning was Christmas Eve and I ran the 6K Rudolph Run.
Kelli ran the race, too.
Afterwards, I went home to play some Saturday morning vinyl, Christmas Eve style.
Next stop was my brother’s house for Christmas Eve and Christmas. We did a beer exchange again this year.
I brought a puzzle for us to work on.
We decided to drink out of some fun mugs.
The puzzle was something to do while we watched football.
My parents came over, too, and we enjoyed a nice scotch together.
The kids got to open one present on Christmas Eve.
My father joined in on the beer drinking, too.
I took a picture of the box so I could use my phone to figure out where the puzzle pieces went. This way we didn’t have to share the box…
Which can be problematic with so many people working on the puzzle at once.
We always do Chinese food for Christmas Eve dinner.
Erin and I snuck across the street to a party…
Before heading back to refill our mugs.
Erin and me playing dots.
I brought some of the wine that Molly and I made, too.
Everyone went to bed early, so I went back across the street to the other party and hung out with them until around midnight.
The next morning it was time to open presents.
Bloody marys are a great way to start Christmas morning. In the background you can see the weather station I bought my father.
Making good progress on the puzzle.
My parents were heading out, so we took a group picture as they left.
We powered through the 1000 piece puzzle in about 24 hours.
And then we started another puzzle.
When my father got home he mounted his weather station.
He can view his weather station from anywhere in the world.
Erin and me being goofy and making a heart with our shadow.
Amber was in a makeup mood, so Mathew and I lent our fingernails to the cause.
She then accented them with some dots.
Watching football, but too bad the Ravens ended up losing.
I snuck outside to have a quick chat with Molly on Christmas night. She was in Florida visiting her mother.
At my parents to open presents, and I found something to remind me of her. She’s from New Mexico.
The day after Christmas I stopped by my parents house and opened Molly’s present’s for her over Skype.
When she came home I gave her the presents I bought for her, including this punching bag.
Molly’s mother bought me this really cool wooden puzzle.
Here is what It looked like completed.
When we got back to Molly’s, Christmas finally came to a close when I opened the presents she got. Merry Christmas everyone!!!
