Summer had started, and for me, it started with a beer at Lost and Found in DC.
Molly and I went to see The Cure at Merriweather Post Pavillion…
And we played some pinball while waiting on the music.
The show was great…
We had a blast…
And I ran into some old friends, Adam and Nate!!!!
Riley loves to be close to you at all times.
At a party in DC and it was time for some beerporn.
Everyone loves Riley.
Molly and I took advantage of the great weather and went hiking.
We were in Patapsco Valley State Park, McKeldin Area.
We headed to the rapids…
And they were great to see.

We went to Artscape in Baltimore. Find Molly.
After walking around for a while we sat down and had some sangria and tapas.
Later that night I introduced Molly’s mom to crabs.

On the way to the beach, and we were going to stop here but their outside area was closed (we had Riley with us).
So we just went to the beach and got carry-out sushi.

It’s always good to hit new spots in Ocean City.
We stopped by the very mellow Greek Festival.
Before heading back to the condo and enjoying a 17% beer with Tom.
Riley loves to be a bum at the beach.
I do too, for that matter.
Running a fever landed me in the hospital on August 2nd.
After some meds and an IV, I felt better.
But the next day I was still running a fever.
The day after that I was feeling better, so Molly and I had a cocktail chilled with liquid nitrogen.

And we hit a few good spots.
And stopped to see some great art.
We then hopped back on the bikes and went for a beer in Georgetown.

Back at Molly’s it was time for more beer.

8 days later, and I’m still running a fever on and off.
Oh well, I’ll just watch TV.
Back to the beach…
And this time I have a permanent record player.

We were there for Molly’s birthday, and I gave her a book.
The we went to the beach.
Love to put my feet in the water.
The water was cold, but that didn’t stop Molly.
For her birthday we went wine/beer hopping.
The wines weren’t that good…
So we went to Berlin for some shopping.
When you’re in Berlin you should go to Burley Oak brewing.
They have great beers.
I like to be able to check on Riley using the condo cam while we’re out running around.
But he was happy when we came home.
We had sushi for her birthday dinner.

But we still made time for the beach.
After coming home from the beach, I was still sick, so this is what I got tested for.
Kelli and I had a few beers on ex-day.
Sometimes it looks like Riley is simling.
After 14 days of running a fever, I headed back to the hospital.
I was checked into my room at 3am.
I ended up staying in the room for 4 days.
Turns out I had a UTI. Interestingly enough, I also tested positive for West Nile.

Kelli and I ran the last race in the B3 Challange, the Charles Street 12.
It’s a great race…
And I was heppy to run it after being sick for a month.

We also stopped at a distillery.
And a brewery.

Hurricane Hermine was off the coast, and the waves were really big!!!
But hey, the weather was good enough for drinks.
