Spring started with me being early to a date and using the time to browse records in a DC vinyl shop.
The date was supposed to start at 2pm, but she called to say she would be late, so I waited…
And of course had a beer.
I was using OK Cupid, and these were the top 6 matches in all of the United States. #6 was my date, Molly.
Being Spring, it was March madness.
Being Spring, it was also snowing.
Saturday morning vinyl, and sometimes the record sleeve is worthy, as well.
I love beer and music.
In DC again…
This time to see The Who.
It was a great show!!!
No bluebird eggs…yet.
Saturday morning vinyl.
Introducing Riley to Molly via text message.
Third date beerporn.
The very first picture of Molly and me together.
Let’s celebrate that picture with some beerporn.
I’m not the only one in the family who loves beer.
Borrowing Taylor’s skateboard.
Riley likes to sleep like he is person sometimes.
Growlers are like metal coat hangers, they mulitply when you’re not looking.
Bob stopped by to drink some of my boss’ homebrew.
Nice shirt.
Date #4 with Molly. The one where I told her I wasn’t quite divorced yet (she took it well).
After coming back from Hawaii, Molly and I headed straight to the beach and had some sushi.
Atlantic Ocean. Only 24 hours before, I was in the Pacific.
Even at the beach there is Saturday morning vinyl.
Molly had her first taste of BBQ chips with srirachaat Backshore Brewing and loved them.
Later, we went to Liquid Assets for some food and drink.
She was not yet used to the number of, and frequency of, the pictures I take.
But she was learning.
Excellent speech advice.
This cracks me up. Sure, it’s the camera that takes good pictures.
Molly practicing kicking ass.
On the way home from the beach we hit RAR for some beer.
Love me some RAR.
This cake was used to brew some of the beer.
Riley loves his bed in my office.
Anyone still have a tape deck?
Bluebird eggs!!!!!
Yummy food at Victoria Gastro Pub.
Bringing the vinyl show to work.
This, I believe, is the first picture of me Molly sent to her mother.
We were in DC at Zaytinya, a favorite place of Molly’s, and the food was great!!!
You’ll come to recognize the hair.
Out again the next night…
And dinner was great!!!
Running the Sole of the City 10K in Baltimore.
After the race they gave me two waters and some food.
Afterwards I went to Mahaffey’s Pub for drinks.
Molly was going to join me, but her nose was broken while practicing Krav Maga.
So I had my breakfast…
Participated in the group shot…
And then picked up Molly from the hospital and brought her home for dinner.
The next morning I ran the Clydes 10K.
It’s becoming a tradition to run both races in one weekend.
It’s always fun to run with friends.
That’s me and my bike circa early 1978.
Lunch after the weekend’s race #2.
After lunch I headed out for a beer at Denizens.
I then heaed to Bier Baron for some more beer and some dinner.
Hanging out with JD and serenading Riley.
Drinking Birdhouse while watching the Orioles.
Saturday morning vinyl from the beach.
That’s the way I feel when it rains at the beach.
Molly was with me, and we were having a great time.
Who doesn’t like a walk on the beach?
Riley loves being at the beach.
G-13 was playing that night…
I made sure to dress appropriatly.
I’m always happy to see them play.
Molly was having a good time, too.
Getting to know that hair yet?
Looks like I’m not the only one who knows what to wear.
Having more fun on the walk home.
I can post a picture of her on the beach in a bathing suit, but she’s unsure of this one.
We went for a run on the boardwalk…
Before stopping at Tall Tales brewery on the way home.
They have great pizza!!
How many items do you have from companies you’ve worked for?
The bluebird eggs finally hatched.
Cooking at Molly’s…
And I did my part to help out.
Dinner was salmon…
And it was really good!!!

Molly and I decided to ride our bikes around DC.
We took the metro to Silver Spring…
And rode to Denizens for a beer.
We then headed to the Capital Crescent Trail.
Our plan was to ride all the way to the end to Georgetown.
It’s a really nice ride.
We stopped along the way for some lunch.
Before finishing in Georgetown.
Another great meal by Molly.
Riley loves car rides.
Saturday morning vinyl.
I took Molly to see Ellicott City and we stopped by the brew pub.
We also stopped by Sweet Cascades to get some chocolate.
More fun food made by Molly.
Molly had never been to Annapolis, so we spent an afternoon there.
At the end of the day we had some drinks on the water.
Working from Molly’s house one morning.
Riley likes to look out the window to the streets of DC below.
Wearing my high school ring.
It was raining and Riley doesn’t like to get wet, so I threw him in my backpack while I went out for a walk to get lunch in DC.
The bushes in front of my house were getting too big…
So when I saw these guys taking care of my neighbor’s trees…
I asked them to take out the bushes for a cheap price.
You can now see out of the front of my house.
Beerporn.
Heading to the Eastern Shore…
For a half marathon.
Of course, I stopped by the local brewery.
They had plenty of good beers on tap.
My room for the night…
Which smelled AWFUL thanks to being a smoking room.
I was able to get switched to a non-smoking room thanks to a last minute cancelation.
The next morning and Kel and I are ready to run the race.
We started out running together…
But I wanted to run faster…
And ended up with a PR (personal record) for a half marathon.
We hung out in the cold rain after the race before leaving.
Saturday morning vinyl after the race.
The shirt I put on after the race. Yes, that is blood. Yes, from my nipples.
7:55 minute mile pace!!!
My mother had surgery, so I stopped by to say hello.
I always like watching The Preakness.
My father’s high school and college rings.
Not made by Molly, but still fun to eat.

Isn’t Riley the cutest dog ever??!!!
He loves to lay on your lap.
Check out the hat JT (from RAR) gave me.
I was at Victoria for a beer dinner.
Cheers!!!
I had termites at my house. They drilled these holes to pour the killing agent in.
With my house a toxic waste thanks to the termites, I headed to the beach for a week. See the Beach Week 2016 pictures for that week.
My parents stoped by to wish me happy birthday when I got back from the beach.
This was the gift they gave me!!! It plays records, CDs, tapes, AM/FM, and has built in bluetooth.
Taylor’s birthday is only 5 days after mine.
Blowing out the candles.
Not Saturday, but I like using this record player.
Kelli and I heading into the court house to get divorced. She heard the shutter and asked, “Did you just take a picture?”
After we got divorced we went to the Trolly Stop with friends and family to have a divorce party.
You can’t hande the truth!!!
The divorce party attendees.
After the divorce party, Kelli and I went on our first double date.
Saturday morning vinyl.
I had to register my car to continue to park in DC, and this is the ticket I was given to wait in line.
Molly and I decided to spend a day hiking.
We headed to Patapsco Valley State Park…
And made for Cascade Falls Trail.
We enjoyed the day at the falls.
And there were plenty of others there as well.
Afterwards we got snowballs!!!
Another puzzle.
I asked Molly to give me a twirl as I really liked her dress.
Molly knows how to cook mussels really well.
Victoria Vox was moving away and we went to her farewell show.

The show was a lot of fun…
And I’m sad to see Victoria leave.

The innaugrial reboot of the Centennial Fun Run .
The racers were lined up and ready to run.
And afterwards everyone enjoyed hanging out.
Later that night I went for a 10 mile run.
My boss of 10 years was leaving the company, and we went out for sushi for his going away party.
We all loved getting sushi together.
This could be the last time John and Juan ever see each other.
After sushi I played shuffleboard with my co-workers.
Molly asked me to buy better knives for her to use.
Molly and I went to Pier 6 for a concert.
The Green was on first…
And we relaxed in the grass and listened.
Later, Rebelution came on.

Heading to dinner with my parents.
Father’s day, and it was time for crabs.
Oh yeah!!!!
It was a great afternoon for being outside.
Well, that’s all for Spring. To end it, Molly and I spent some time in the American Art and Portrait Gallery in DC.
