Our Labor Day weekend started with a trip into Baltimore to meet some Ravens Roost friends.
It was a crab feast for charity.
There were about 400 people at the event.
We sat with our Roost friends…
And took two tables.
It was a lot of fun, and we need to make sure to go again next year.
The next morning in Ocean City, and Kelli and I went for a run in West Ocean City.
Looks like Kelli wants to get Naked.
Back at the condo and Riley met Daisy for the first time.
Daisy is a small poodle puppy, and the two dogs got along very well.
They chased each other for 15 minutes straight. Riley isn’t used to being the bigger dog.
Later that day it was beach time.
I got my toes in the water, ass in the sand, not a worry in the world, a cold beer in my hand. Life is good today. Life is good today.
Tom’s glasses made for a fun selfie.
Sitting on the beach, I felt like $90,000,000.
Tom and I stayed on the beach so long we had to turn around to face the sun going down.
But alas, it was time to go home.
In my absence, Kelli had walked down to Fish Tales to meet some friends, so I went down to join her.
They had arrived by boat…
And wanted to get home before it got too dark.
These two couldn’t get enough of each other.
Daisy is Ava’s dog.
How the asshole renters park under my building. They’re blocking 3 spots.
The next day, it was more of the same.
My bathing beauty emerging from the water.
Check out the live shells I found on a piece of horseshoe crab.
Low tide is always a good time to look for shells.
It was getting late again…
So we packed up and headed home…again.
Back at Tom’s place it was craft time.
So while the dogs played…
We made a cast of the sea shells we found.
The setup is very easy. You mix this powder…
With water in this bucket…
And then pour it on your neatly arranged shells.
Just like this.
I added an H to the back for fun.
Once they’re dry, you wash off the excess sand…
And voilà, something to hang on your wall.
Family photo.
That night we headed to…
The Greene Turtle in West OC to see Galaxy Collective.
Kelli got a shirt…
And I got a round of drinks…
For the band!!
The next day, the dogs were at it again.
Later, Kelli and I headed out to OC Brewing for a few drinks.
The fish egg rolls were really good.
From there we headed to Longboard Cafe for the best happy hour in Ocean City.
Two for one drinks from 5-6pm, or as they say…
241526
The food was really yummy, too. Kelli loved the cream, of crab. She said it was the best in OC.
It’s funny to see people out wearing Can’t Hang gear.
OK, enough time at Longboard Cafe, time to go home.
Kelli was tired and decided it was bed time.
To end the trip we left before the sun came up the next morning to make it back before work.
