The wedding of Mary and Mike started the night before the wedding with the rehearsal.
I’m guessing they get a brick for being married at the venue.
After the rehearsal it was time for a great dinner at BlueStone Restaurant.
It was nice to meet such awesome people before the wedding.
The next day I arrived early at the venue and found the guys doing their photos.
With nothing else to do…
I followed them around for a little while.
30 minutes later the “girls” arrived.
I was an usher, so as guests began arriving I helped to seat them.
I also was set to escort Mike’s mom, Karen, down the aisle, so I had to meet back up with the wedding party.
We took the back way from the inn…
To the building in which they were getting married.
It was a funny scene to see us all walking down the street.
We came in through the kitchen and up the elevator to the back of the room in which the wedding was to take place.
The men were ready as Kelli took her place…
…and Mary made her way down the aisle.
The ceremony was about 10-15 minutes long and very emotional and fun.
After the vows and exchange of the rings…
It was time for a kiss to seal the deal!!!
Wedding beerporn.
There was a cocktail hour immediately proceeding the wedding.
Everyone mingled and enjoyed the atmosphere.
Even these two hotties.
Spelled incorrectly, but oh well.
There was a photo booth for fun, posed pictures.
For a take home, everyone got a pint glass.
Introductions were done…
Then it was time for the maid of honor speech…
Followed by the best man speech…
Followed by a kiss because we were clanging on the glassware.
The cake.
Those who did not collect their table cards.
Food was a buffet style setup…
The rockfish was really good (I had 3 pieces).
There was meat, too, if you’re into that sort of thing.
This is what I decided on having.
Cake time!!!
They were civil and didn’t push the cake into each other’s mouth.
A friend of Kelli’s.
Finally, both of them in one picture.
The tossing of the bouquet.
There were a few beer/flower arrangements around. It was good beerporn.
A sign next to the photo booth.
The band was playing, and Mary’s parents were cutting a rug.
The cake was REALLY yummy!!!
Fun with mirrors.
As things were winding down I was able to get my shot with the two of them.
When the party ended the staff was keen to make sure everyone left as quickly as possible.
Somehow we ended up taking the stairs instead of the elevator.
But it was OK because Mary had already taken off the heels.
And with that, we said goodbye and best wishes to Mary and Mike!!!!
