Before we could go on our trip, I thought it prudent to read the book.
Kel, Kristi, Rob, and I headed into New York City for a night to see a play. Missed you Mike and Delci!
We arrived early and went for a walk to Times Square.
Bright lights, big city.
Just off of Times Square is a brewery we like to go to.
So we all had a drink…
Before heading to Fifth Ave for some shopping.
Of course, we stopped in Saks 5th Ave.
What girl doesn’t like shopping.
From there we headed to Rockefeller Center for another tourist picture.
On the way back to the hotel I got my shoes shined.
After all the running around we went back to the VERY small hotel room…
and got ready for the night.
We headed to the West Bank Cafe for dinner.
It was really good.
and we all enjoyed our meals. Great choice Delci!
From there it was over to broadway to see our play, Wicked.
On our way, both Kristi and Kelli broke a heel, although Kristi did so in a more dramatic fashion.
No pictures during the play, but I got one in before it started.
Afterwards we met up with Jeff Nauman for some post-play libations.
It’s always fun to hang out with old friends.
From there we headed to a pizza place…
And as the last shots of the trip, enjoyed our midnight pizza…
Which is all Kristi wanted to end her trip.
