Summer began with a Riley smile.
We were hanging out at my parents house, and I posted this to http://TaylorHabicht.com
Want a hard race? Try the Dreaded Druid Hills 10k.
Post race libations with Mitch and Cindy at Slainte.
Afterwards, a trip to the farmers market in Fells Point…
And then out to Rockville for some poolside action.
Later that night, it was back to Baltimore for some more fun.
The shirt from the race earlier in the morning.
Kelli ended the night cuddling with Riley.
Not wanting to slow down, the next day was a beer fest.
Mary came out to T-Bonz to join us.
Great beer, and a fun setup.
My swag for the day.
A name I would normally associate with the lies of “monobrow”.
Live music was provided by Subtle Hustle.
Riley, on the hunt.
A nice evening at Wolf Trap to see Steve Martin and Edie Brickell.
We enjoyed a meal and a bottle of wine on the lawn…
Before heading to our seats in the balcony.
Meal worms for our bluebirds.
Fun run time.
Ashley and Sophia are getting much better at running.
Afterwards it was back to the Shadrick’s house for some poolside fun.
Heading to Indianapolis for work, and I had some time in the airport.
I’ve got the raging part down pat.
I met up with my sales guy, Russ…
And we headed to Rock Bottom Brewery.
The next morning it was time to meet with the customer.
Afterwards, we walked around for a bit…
And found this aptly named establishment.
Who am I to say no to good beer?
Time to head home.
A night in Baltimore led us to Nick’s Fish House.
Subtle Hustle was playing, and we love their music.
Crabs go well with a Maryland summer.
My Ravens Roost had a golf tournament…
And I went along to do photography for the event.
Mathew’s new car.
A chance meeting of my boss and Kelli.
It almost looks like Kristi has a penis.
The junk that didn’t get sold at my brother’s yard sale.
We went to the owner’s wedding at Jillys…
And we hung out with some old friends.
Best wishes!!!
I like the Ravens cake.
Drinking with the roost is always fun.
Someone fell asleep while snuggling.
Riley’s favorite place to rest.
Absinthe, the stuff of good times and hallucinations.
O-R-I-O-L-E-S!!!!!
A mouse we caught in our house, drove a mile down the road, and then released.
After having this at the beer fest, I was happy to have it again.
Fourth of July beerporn, of course.
Amber with her Favorite Uncle.
Summer time, late night, pool fun.
Amber wearing an old shirt of her father’s.
Our bluebirds!!!!
Continuing fourth of July at Kel’s Mother’s house with some crabs.
Good times with family.
Jillian and I goofing off together.
Later that night it was over to Timmy’s house for more fun.
The brew crew.
Joe drinking some moonshine.
Fireworks anyone?
Peter showing how to be safe by playing with fireworks while smoking.
The kids all had glow sticks.
And everyone was happy to see the show.
How to infuse a watermelon with vodka.
Anyone want to fill a growler for take home?
Happy, fluffy puppy.
The three of us have taken to biking on Sunday mornings…
And then enjoying some post bike libations.
Boobs!!!
Kelli loves to lay in the sun.
Peter showing his James Bond look.
Brew crew.
A summer time treat.
Time to get a haircut.
Much shorter.
Dropping Kelli off to go to Atlanta for work.
He will lay in bed with you all day.
A turtle I found in my front yard.
Riley was very interested.
It seems I found the best man speech I wrote for Mathew’s wedding.
While Kelli was in Atlanta, I went with Kristi and the kids to the beach. See the Album “Family in OC Summer 2013” for those pictures.
Kelli came to the beach when she got back from Atlanta, after making a stop in Kent Island with her bowling partner, Hippy.
I found where the turtle was hiding under my deck.
Of course, there is plenty of wildlife in my neighborhood, like these deer.
A day at the pool with Kelli and her bowling partner, Hippy.
Looks like I have found another Browns fan.
Shots for…
Kelli’s co-workers from the Pot!!!
It was Ross’ birthday, and we got him DRUNK!!!
Another weekend bike ride.
That ends with a stop for a beer.
You know you want to join us.
As like any dog, Riley loves it when the window is down.
I got to meet Adam Benesch, one of the founders of Union Brewing.
I reorganized the landscaping bricks in my backyard to make them look nicer.
Riley doesn’t always get to have the window down.
A night at my brother’s house…
Which included a dip in the pool.
More biking…
Followed by beer drinking.
After hitting Victorias, we decided to keep drinking by visting Union Brewing in Baltimore.
We were given the tour by co-founder Jon Zerivitz.
And checked out the ready to ship beer.
Their operation is small…
But I love their beer and hope they do well.
From there we headed a few blocks away in Baltimore for more beer.
Food was on hand, too.
Not being done yet, we headed closer to home to finish the day.
Later that night it was time for the Chef’s table at Aida’s with my parents.
The food is always good…
And I would highly recommend the experience.
You have been rolled.
Making way for the library, and we donated all the old dining room furniture to charity.
I stopped by a farm…
And bought some bales of straw…
So that I would have a target for Ashley to practice archery.
I bought this basic set for $20 online.
Later that night I stopped by Victoria’s for a little treat.
The beginning of turning the dining room into a library.
The furniture was custom built to fit the space.
One night we caught a train to Baltimore…
To head to a concert at M&T Bank Stadium.
We were on hand to see Justin Timberlake.
The next night, Kelli got to meet Bad Company.

The picture of the picture.
A shirt to match a drum set.
We were on hand to see Slightly Stoopid…
And Kelli got to meet the band afterwards (she also scored a set list).
Some late night Denny’s eats on the way home.
Ashley working on her archery skills.
Beatrice asked me to take her senior pictures…
So she and her friend Rachel both walked around Ellicott City with me…
While I took pictures of them.
Riley always finds the warm, comfortable spot.
Another night in Baltimore, this time at Victoria Vox’s house.
She had invited us over for dinner and drinks.
We all had a great time.
Afterwards, Victoria and Katie played for us.
A fun evening was had by all.
I found this frog inside my door AFTER opening the door. The frog had wedged himself in the door frame while it was shut.
More library work. Here they are cutting the molding to fit.
I don’t play as many video games these days, but I still like to go for Xbox achievements.
The lamp we picked out for the library.
The process of finishing the library took several weeks…
But was really starting to take shape.
Out for drinks at Tersiguel’s…
And then across the street to the brew pub.
Kelli and I made the decision to stain the library ourselves.
So she did the shelves and doors, while I did the rest of the furniture.
One day’s work…
And I assure you, it was WORK.
We went to DC that night for a show.
Iration was playing at U Street Music Hall…
And we got to meet the band afterwards.
The staining took all weekend.
But in the end, we were very happy with the color.
Lunch time camera fun.
Truffle popcorn, my favorite treat at Victoria’s.
Date night in Baltimore to see the movie “Computer Chess”.
Tapas Teatro is always a fun place to go before and after a movie at the Charles Theater.
Groupon night.
With the staining done, it was time to put the finishing coat on.
This is a process that took another weekend of work (and then some). First coat done.
Hanging out at a neighborhood party…
With high school friend Glenn Livingston.
Ashley showing off the short haircut.
Wes, the man of 1,000+ beers.
Second coat…
DONE!!!
Time to add new furniture.
Pure Joy.
The hours at work, and the sleeping conditions, are getting worse.
Taylor also tried out the archery set.
For Amber’s birthday Kelli and I bought some outfits for her American Doll.
I have one on my vehicle, too, just not as old.
Beerporn.
Taken with my phone. Do you see Riley?
Football time…
With the Ravens Roost.
Late nights in bed.
Working on organizing my CDs, and Riley found a good place to sit.
Of course, laying in the sun is OK, too.
How you know you’re in a classy joint. I love that they have to specify no “dirty” apparel.
But hey, when you’re with good friends, who cares what you wear.
My old stereo from high school is getting a second life.
We now needed a carpet for the library, and there is a good store on Main Street in Ellicott City.
Here is the one we bought.
In Baltimore at 8×10 to hear Nate play music.
More biking…
Followed by drinking.
Kelli is a great cook!!!!
I had lots of left over, half empty bottles of booze…
So during a football game Joe helped me drink them all.
Sophia is getting much better at riding her bike…
And she and Ashley go on rides together.
Goofing off while hanging out.
Another night in Baltimore and we got to meet the members of Rebelution.
More furniture from what was the dining room that I donated.
Hanging out with Kristi and the kids again, and it was time to walk the dog.
Ashley and I have been going for longer bike rides, and she can now do about 4 miles.
He looks like he is smiling.
Band night, which happens weekly, but I rarely take pictures.
Trinity died, and these were some pictures I had of her when she was a puppy.
Wine time…
At the Maryland Wine Festival.
We love us some Penn Oaks Wines!!!
Afterwards we walked around before heading home.
They got smart with me, so I told them to find the car on their own (they couldn’t).
A post-wine fest tradition, Maryland steamed crabs.
Now that, is some good beerporn.
Joe came over agian for some more football and drinking.
Kelli joined us….
But decided to take a nap.
And then later, Peter joined us, too, to say goodbye to summer and hello to fall.
