Kelli and I love beer, and this was the perfect festival for us.
We got our “I’m over 21” wristband…
A look at what beers were on hand…
Our glass from which to drink the beer…
And the schedule of music…
Before starting our drinking for the day.
There were lots of beers on hand…
And we were allowed as many 1 ounce pours as we liked.
Anheuser Busch was there in disguise.
While we were drinking beer….
There were other types of vendors there, as well.
Good stuff, for sure.
The day was getting hot out…
So I switched to just wearing a short sleeve shirt.
We met up with some Eastern Shore friends to share in the fun.
We also checked out the local beer scene.
My new hat that Kelli bought me.
A classic favorite.
Getting raped at the ATM.
One of Maryland’s premiere breweries.
I had never had an oyster fritter…
So we ordered one…
While it sounds gross, I can say it was so good we bought a second one!!!
Words to live by.
A shirt I bought for Kelli.
There were plenty of corn hole stations set up for the crowd to enjoy.
A group of us hung around and waited for…
The Electric Company to start playing.
There even was held at a national historic landmark, with a few individuals dressed in period costume.
There was an old style brewing station at the park…
And they were doing demonstrations on brewing beer using old methods.
I would have loved to have tasted the beer when it was done.
Kelli and I got a tour of the plantation house…
Which was quite large for a house of the time.
I’ll stay with my new house, however….
And it’s modern amenities.
Overall it was a great event.
Kelli and I had a great time!!!
