July 4th weekend started with a trip to my brothers to see the family.
From there Kelli and I headed to Ocean City for a weekend of fun.
Our first stop was to see The Electric Co.
Social!!!!
They were great, as always.
Looks like I had the wrong lens on for this picture.
Buxy posed with John.
John and I ran across the street to see The Phantom Limbs.
They are a punk band….
That plays songs about zombies.
And they rocked!!
The next morning we headed to the beach, and Laurier joined us.
Tom was there, too…
And we buried Ava.
Kristi showed up later that night…
And she and Kelli hit the town for a girls night out. (Photo: Kristi Edwards)
The next day we got dressed and headed out.
We were on our way to the boardwalk…
To see Can’t Hang at Riptides.
I love live music in the Sun!!!
Robert and Bobie showed up and joined the fun!!
Lori and Ava went pool hopping at the hotel…
And Ava thought that was alright.
The behind bars pool hopping crew.
When asked why he was wearing a National’s hat, he said, “We sell them at the station.”
The girls were eyeing up a good spot to sit…
And finally found a spot right next to the band. (Photo: Kristi Edwards)
Kelli with the WooHoo!!!!
And Kristi with Yoo-hoo!!!
During a set break Kelli hammed it up with James Brown….
And Rob and Mary posed for a shot.
Overall it was a great show!!!
The clock says good times.
After the show we did some shopping…
And then headed to a local favorite.
Robert and Bobie went and got the jet skis and met us there.
The weekend was shaping up to be a good one for sure.
After a couple drinks, they headed out…
And rode off into the into the sunset.
Back at the condo Riley was ready to have fun…
Or just lay around.
We left the beach and headed to Kelli’s mom’s house…
For crabs with the family.
Jillian, the budding photographer.
We took her back to Peter and Megan’s…
And then we headed out to see some fourth of July fireworks.
It was a short walk down the street…
And then boom, boom, boom.
Lots of color…
And lots of noise…
So much so, in fact, that Jillian didn’t like the noise.
So we left early.
Oh well, it was still a great weekend!!!
