If you remember the fruit from the end of Winter 2011, this is the science project that went with them. Good thing Ashley has such a good Aunt and Uncle!!!!
The science fair was a bit of a zoo with more than one volcano.
Kelli and I took Riley to an off-leash dog park in our county.
I went with Kelli one evening to see her bowling with her team…
And she did really well!!
That 115 was her highest score at the time (she beat that score the next time I went with her).
Which included other families, as well.
Afterwards it was over to The Melting Pot in Columbia for drinks with high school friends.
Seeing old friends never gets old!!!
He was turning 70…
So we all came out for the party.
More on that lovely plaque later.
The kids had their own table, and that little girl on the right was enamored with Taylor.

Seriously, that girl was ready to marry Taylor right away.

After the party I walked down to the Dark Horse….
And hung out with Chris, Lindsay, and Mark for a couple drinks.
The next day it was down to the city for Kelli’s football game.
The game was off to a really good start…
And Brian was doing really well…
As was Kristi.

Afterwards, Kelli and I went out for crabs.
Weekends at the beach, so relaxing.
John and his mustache stopped by to say hello.
Kelli enjoys the humor of the mustached man.
Without the wide angle lens, I needed 2 shots to get everyone.
I, too, can sport the mustache.
Of course, what would a beach trip be without these two napping in bed together.
Walks are also part of their routine.
We took a break from doing nothing and headed out…

And Brian played well as he always does.
The mighty warriors emerged victorious.
After the game we headed to T-Bonz and got our own tap of beer.
I found this tick crawling up my leg after taking Riley for a walk….
No photos allowed inside, so we took one outside.
The Oriole bird was at a post race celebration…
Which had a great post race party!!!!
I stopped by my brothers and played with Taylor….
He and I raced down the hill together.
He sure can get going fast on his bike.
Amber was there, too.
From there I went to see Mark’s lacrosse game.
Dave is a coach again this year…
And Mark is a goalie.
He has been working really hard on throwing the ball well…
And protecting the goal.
The final score left Mark’s team as the winning team.
With three kids playing lacrosse, they go to a lot of sporting events.
Oh yeah, part of the xbox live beta program!!!
Peter and I worked out some testing with his new disk golf disks.
Jillian is such a cutie!!!
A night in Baltimore to see Ballyhoo!!!
They were great!!!!

On the way home from the beach I stopped with Peter to see Bridget…
She was in a dance recital…
The whole performance was really good!!!
It was May Day….
And that means Happy Birthday for Kelli’s mother.
I went out to see Savannah (#18) play lacrosse…
She is on the JV team for Westminster High School…
And they beat the home team 4-15!!!
Kelli came with me to watch the game.
The next night I was going to see one of Carleigh’s games, but it was cancelled so I hung out at their house instead.

Hanging with the Shadrick clan and CC showed off her gymnastics abilities.
Carolyn had some static electricity issues.
Later that night we all sat around a campfire.
The next day it was over to my brother’s house to hang out.
While it was Mother’s day, Erin had to work, so Taylor made Amber a sandwich.
We went out to the store…
And then the kids played out back for a while.
After leaving my brothers I headed to Dave and Courtney’s house for her birthday/mother’s day celebration.
And while I took a few shots…

Later in the week I went to Carleigh’s lacrosse game.
She scored a few goals, including this one.
The score ended up being 8-6, but this was at the half.
Of course with the great scoring by Carleigh, her team won!!!

So we enjoyed a night of old school rock.
It was Jillian’s birthday…
And she was dressed and ready.
The gifts were given…

Do you remember the last time you had as many candles as your age?
It seemed like a good idea at the time.
Later that night I went to Kristi’s house and hung out with her and the kids.
I took a week off from work to get a lot of projects done around the house…
Like cleaning the garage…
and fixing the toilets.
Kelli was in Florida visiting her grandmother during that time, but we Skyped to keep in touch.
My father came over and helped me out with the basement…
And then took me out for dinner, too!!!
Another project was cleaning under the deck and doing the electrical on the deck…
He came back everyday to help…
And we were able to get it all done.
Kristi came over with the kids to Skype with her grandmother and Kelli.
And then stayed and gave the kids a bath.
While Kelli was in Florida was the she checked both of thier insulin levels.
Instead of going out one night, they got takeout from Outback and had it at home.
So proud!!
Hanging out with the in-laws to watch the 136th running of the Preakness.
Another day found me at the Wine in the Woods wine festival.
Chris and Lindsay came along and poured wine.
The event was really crowded and lots of fun.
We made sure to get our fill of wine…
And they got some to go.
They had such a good time, they may even pour again.
Kelli and I went bowling for lunch one day, and it was a lot of fun!!!
There were presents from Aunt Kelli and me…
And they shared Aunt Kelli’s milk shake.
Outback Steakhouse for food and fun.
My mother and I went out to lunch one afternoon for our own birthdays.
Kelli cleaned out some drawers and gave lots of fun things to Amber.
It was a great day outside, so the kids played in the sprinkler.
Ah, to be a kid when the weather is nice.
The mood ring quickly became one of Amber’s favorites from the Aunt Kelli collection.
Kelli and I love eating crabs!!!
Kaitlyn had already turned 5…
But she had to wait for the weekend for the party with her friends…
Which of course included gifts.
Outside with the piñata….
Everyone else waited for their turn.
I went with my brother’s family one afternoon…
To their pool.
We came home afterwards and Erin made us all lunch.
I spent the night on Taylor’s bottom bunk that night.
I spent the next day with the Worstells.
A few days later, I was hanging with them again.
Kelli and I went to the beach for my birthday. Be sure to check out those pictures in the album “Scott’s Birthday Weekend”.
While I was at the beach, I bought this for Taylor’s birthday.
I also bought him a shirt from the surf shop where I bought his skateboard.
Matt and Erin bought him a full set of pads…
And now he was ready to ride!!
We had a birthday dinner at Erin’s place of work…
For Peter Worstell’s birthday, we all went out together.
We headed down to Ellicott City…
And Peter ran into someone who shares the same birthday. BTW, that shirt is the same brand as the skateboard I bought Taylor.
BFFs.

Kelli and I scored a night on the Sandals ship when it came to Baltimore…
Which included food…
drinks…
And a tour of the harbor.
It was a really great night…
And I had such great company!!!!
We have been having this problem of tieing a lot lately.
The old C42 setlist needed to be updated….
So we took some time and refreshed it.
My brother was laying sewer pipes and conduit…
And Mike came over to help dig the hole.
My new sticker thanks to Taylor.
Of course, all this talk of skateboarding…
Meant we had to go somewhere and skate.
There is a skatepark behind my parent’s house…
That I was happy to check out.
Taylor did OK, but still needs a little more practice.
I bought myself a full set of pads, too. I’m too old to break something.
I showed him how to go down the ramp…
And he was pretty fearless about trying.
Of course Amber wanted to try, too…
But she wasn’t a big fan.
Amber just loves her Aunt Kelli.
It was a great way to spend the first half of Father’s Day.
For the second half we headed back to Peter and Megan’s.
