My birthday weekend was a trip to the Ocean, that included some wine hopping along the way.
Our first stop was Layton’s Chance.
We were there right when they opened, and liked thier wines.
The next stop was Bordeleau…
The property was very nice…
And we thought we might stay for a while.
Riley met a friend…
And we got a bottle and enjoyed the shade by the river.
It was a great day for doing nothing.
While we sat…
And drank…
We finally felt the calling of the pier…
And went for a walk to the end.
Back inside we said goodbye to our new friend…
And then headed to the next winery…
Costa Ventosa.
The sign was just right.
After we got to the beach, we grabbed a taxi and headed to…
West Ocean City for some food.

Laurier came out to meet us…
And we headed over to Sunset Grille for drinks…
and music.
Kelli was tired when we got home and promptly went to bed.
I was tired in the morning and stayed in bed.
Back at the ocean, Kelli and I relaxed on the beach.
On our way home, we stopped at Layton’s Chance, again.
We had made friends with the folks at Bordeleau and decided to help them at a small wine festival.
We ended up working the credit card booth…
But it wasn’t long until our shift was done and we relaxed to the music.
A big thanks to Bordeleau for letting us be part of the fun.
With thefestival winding down….
And the final day prizes being awarded…
Kelli and I decided to head home.
All-in-all it was a great weekend!!!
