Winter started with a night of family fun.
I had the parents over to play some Xbox 360 Kinect.
It was a big hit with everyone.
Who knew they liked video games.
After playing, we relaxed and had some drinks…
Before they all headed home.
Out before my company party and I ran into old friends Val and Marty.
A company dinner favorite…
That when done with the meat gets made into soup.
Afterwards it was back to our pre-dinner hangout, Clydes…
For some more drinks…
Before heading home.
Feast of seven fishes at Aida Bistro.
Christmas was a great time. Be sure to check out the album “Christmas 2010” for those pictures.
Out for a drive to find Christmas lights…
And we found this one that had the music over the radio synchronized with the lights.
I’ll make sure to check this out next year, too.
Lunch.
The holidays were slow, so Riley came to work with me.
Over at Brian’s one night for some fun with the kids.
They loved playing in the tent…
And hanging out with Kelli.
Kids love to be kids…
So when we gave them the option of writing on the wall…
They made sure to make the most of it.
New Years Eve, Eve, and Ashley came over for a sleep over.
She enjoyed sleeping in the next morning.
New Years Eve was a blast!!! Check out the album “New Years Eve 2010-2011” for those pictures.
A league-mate of Kelli’s somehow managed this on her bowling night.
Some of the Bottom’s Up bowlers.
You wouldn’t know by looking that they were so annoyingly good.
Hanging with Victoria Vox at one of her shows.
Be sure to check the album “Victoria Vox @ IOTA – Arlington, VA” for those pictures.
Rob was along for the ride to See Victoria that night.
Riley loves to hang out with me…
And Kelli.
For Taylor and Amber.
My mother-in-law shows how big her new TV is, and she loves it!!!
Family stopped by…
And Kristi and Kelli wanted a picture together.
They started getting goofy…
So I just kept taking pictures.
I think I took about 30 and they kept saying, take another one.
Another night finds us at the Brew pub for Peter’s birthday,
Everyone at the pub sang Happy Birthday to Peter.
We had a great time, as always…
Before heading home for the night.
It was too cold for Riley, so Kelli carried him.
A love note for Kelli.
A late Christmas present for myself.
Babysitting Ashley, and I helped her with her homework.
The family only retirement party for my father.
Playoff time…
And Peter tries to mess with the girls…
Yes Peter, they won that day, but they’ll lose the Super Bowl.
Oh yes they will, ha ha.
Kelli tried once…
And twice, but recorded video instead of taking a picture.
New hair color…
With a little funky in the back.
Hanging at the 8×10 for a Can’t Hang show.
Hanging in the bathroom before a party.
We headed down to Virgina to see…
Boris!!!
All the places he and his wife have been.
We moved from seat…
To seat…
They were their own entertainment.
All night long, staying in no one seat longer than about 10 minutes.
One last seat before we left for the night.
AFC championship, and the Steelers won again.
Home grown like every other year.
Riley loves the fireplace…
And will lay like this all night.
Not like the blizzards from the year before….
But a good bit of snow nonetheless.
Kelli purged about 3 bags of old clothes from her closets.
This is the picture that turned Kelli into a professional model. Remember this one for a little bit later.
Family Night at Tersiguel’s French Country Restaurant….
And we had a lot of fun going down to the kitchen to get the food…
And bringing it back to everyone at the table.
Thanks, Michel, for a great time!!!
Kelli and I had a great time!!!
Kelli was getting sized for her own ball.
And she’s not sure if she bowls any better with it…
Although pink is her color.
In DC at the Black Cat for some live music by band Si Se.
We love live music!!!
Out with Kelli and Kristi and we got cupcakes from cakelove.
What girl doesn’t love sweet treats?
Achievement whoring in Crackdown 2, a great co-op game.
Practicing my skateboarding at work.
Sons of the Radio.
Be sure to chck out the album “Sons of the Radio @ Sonoma’s – Columbia, MD” for those pictures.
Hammered? Most likely.
A drink at LeeLynns, and Riley hung in his bag with us for about an hour.
Super Bowl time, and the Steelers lost.
Our third crop this year.
Keller Williams at Rams Head Live in Baltimore.
It was a really great show!!!
We meet new people all the time at shows.
Peter stopped by one afternoon…
And Kelli was on her way out looking like a rockstar.
Later that night I got bored and took a ton of these shots. I’ll only show you one. Talk about a pain in the butt to time.
Riley napping with one of his many stuffed animals.
Out at the brew pub with Erin and Mathew…
And it looks like I brought the wrong lens.
How to hunt a bat in your house.
I bought Kelli some new bling!!!!
Just kidding, she was trying on Bobie Jo’s ring.
We hung out while down in Ocean City together.
We also saw the Saltwater String Band. Check out the album “Saltwater String Band @ The Shark – Ocean City, MD” for those pictures.
Doppelgänger!!!
The night was really windy and ended up ripping Eddie’s door off the hinges.
For reference when I need my door replaced.
Another night of music. Check out the album “the Electric Co. @ Pickles – Ocean City, MD” for those pictures.
Robert and Bobie came out with us again…for a second night of bluegrass.
The next day we saw more live music…
Check out the album “Saltwater String Band @ Harborside – Ocean City, MD” for those pictures.
Trying to pull Taylor’s tooth out.
The Chili Cook Off at the brew pub in Ellicott City.
There were a lot of people on hand for the event…
And we all got a little sauced.
But the event was worth coming down for…
As there were a lot of different chili entrants.
All that drinking led to some goofy moments…
And lots of fun.
State Theater in Virgina to see Rebelution.
Testing a scince project for Ashley. We ended up not doing this one.
Fun with Dominos!!!
Sophia tries on my shirt, and it seems a tad too big for her.
The retirement party for my father.
These are really the only people I knew.
Most everyone else were work people I had never met.
My dad had a dance with Amber.
OK, enough retierment party, time to go.
My brother from another mother.
I want faster!!!!
St. Patrick’s day….
And Kelli and I ran a 5K in Baltimore.
The race had over 4000 runners…
With a great after party including food and beer.
It was hot that day, and I got a little sun on my face.
Our running crew.
Afterwards we went to Canton for some drinks.
Lunch, during work on St. Patrick’s day…
Included food, too.
Rams Head Live for Cold.
Taylor had his color belt challenge.
Of course, he advanced to a brown belt.
Thank you, Master Dan!!
Check out his new bunk bed!!
I needed to get a license for Riley to use the off-leash park, but we’ll be back when he has his papers in order.
A reminder of when to feed the meter.
I had gone down to Ellicott City to hang with Peter, but his door to the roof was stuck.
We finally got it open, and Riley hung out with us while we had a few beers.
Well, that’s it for winter.
This Winter ended with Ashley and I counting the seeds in various types of fruit…
As a science project to see which types produced more seeds.
Cucmbers had the most….
But strawberries were the hardest to pick off. I’m happy to be done with that project!!!
