Thanksgiving started with a trip to Kristi’s house.
Family was gathering….
And the women were taking up their posts in the kitchen.
The table was set….
And Sophia and I goofed off while waiting for dinner.
Thanksgiving dinner!!!
After dinner, Peter and I took the kids to see…
My brother’s family.
The kids were very rambunctious….
But Jillian played quietly by herself……
While the rest of the kids went crazy.
We stepped outside so Erin could show me her new car…..
And the kids climbed into the trampoline and asked me to bounce them.
Peter had a go at it, as well.
Thanks Peter for taking the family photo!!
Erin’s father, Ron, had been visiting for a week.
Back inside for dessert, and my lap is big enough for 2 nieces.
It was time to say goodbye……
And head back to Kristi’s house.
We left the kids to have their fun….
And went out to do some early Black Friday shopping.
The line was too long at Toys R Us, so we headed to the Mall in Columbia.
The mall was a ghost town….
And we were the first ones at the Disney store for the midnight opening.
The line, as the door opened.
It was really late when we got back, so Kristi spent the night at our house.
The next night I headed down to Ellicott City….
To hang out with these beautiful women!!!
It was good to see friends as well as family over the weekend.
Peter and Carrie mug for a shot.
He was probably on his way to do an Ellicott City Ghost tour, but I like the style.
Peter’s girlfriend was on hand to say hello.
Q and Sue made the trip, too.
Kelli said hello to Driz…..
And more of the brew pub crew.
Afterwards we headed over to Tersiguel’s….
For some fine food…..
And great dessert!!
We said goodbye to Katie and headed home for the night.
The next day we headed to my brother’s house for his 10th anniversary party.
Guiding my nephew Taylor towards the Raven’s. (My brother’s house is a Steeler’s house).
My parents were on hand….
And my father had fun playing with the kids.
2 days later, and my jacket still smells like a campfire…..
But the fire did keep us warm that night.
It was getting late, so I said goodbye to my brother….
Some of Erin’s family…..
And took a cool picture of Erin drawing a butterfly….
With this pen.
I went and picked up Kelli from work……
And we settled in for a wonderful night in front of our Christmas tree!!!!
