The July 4th weekend started with another color belt challenge for Taylor…..
Afterwards, it was back to Mathew’s again for dinner.
The next day, with time to kill, I met up with Peter for a few beers.
With more time to kill, I hung out with the namesake of this wine….
For a nice evening of poses….
And smiles.
On the 4th, Riley was dressed in his holiday colors.
We had a half a bushel of crabs….
That took us about an hour to go through.
It was too hot for Riley, so Kelli took off his shirt.
I was just taking this picture of us….
But Peter offered to take a family portait.
Afterwards, I enjoyed some snacks, while Kelli relaxed in the sun.
I headed inside to escape the heat, and Jillian joined me.
All kids like playing with things they think they’re not supposed to be touching….
Including Jillian.

It was time to say goodbye…..
And head over to Walter and Monica’s.
Peter had his time watching Jillian…..
And then Megan had her time.
Meanwhile, Monica cooked some great food!!!!
The real men, of course, just hung around outside.
Walter fired up the grill with dinner.
A well made plate of extras for my burger.
It was getting late, and the shrimp were almost done.
So we waited patiently for the food to finish.
Peter was back on Dad duty….
And Jillian didn’t seem to mind.
With the food ready…..
It was time to eat!!!!!
The party was a lot of fun….
And included scotch, cigars, and…..
Drunken antics.
Well, it was time to kiss goodnight….
And say goodnight, because that’s the end of the weekend.
