Spring is a busy time with lots of birthdays.
And this particular birthday party….
Was being held at the Clark farm in Howard County, MD.
There was face painting….
A petting zoo….
That everyone seemed to enjoy…
Brody and Ryan made the trip, too.
Horseback riding…..
And of course, a hay ride.
And what would a party be without cake for Jillian?
Lots of family and friends were in attendance.
Back at the house, Mike fired up the grill for some food.
Mother’s day at a Crab Shanty brunch.
Let it never be said that we don’t spend enough time with family.
More bike riding, this time with Kristi.
Kelli remembers the loss.
Erin made me pizza one evening for dinner at my brother’s house.
Be sure to check out the album “Victoria Vox @ Baldwin’s Station – Sykesville, MD” for those pictures.
Riley and I watching a thunderstorm roll through.
Wine in the woods….
And it was shaping up to be a busy day.
2 hours and 30 minutes after the gates opened, and the people in the background are still waiting in line to get in.
Got wine?
3 hours and 30 minutes later, and line was still long to get in.
For the first time ever, we sold out of wine. 87 cases of wine in 6 hours.
Matt stopped by to say hello.
It really was a great day for Maryland wine.
The next day, I went to my brother’s house.
He was having his furnace replaced with the unit being installed in his attic.
They are planting a garden, and everyone was pitching in to help.
Having fun with the video on my camera while spinning Taylor.
Later it was time for batting practice.
Erin once again made me dinner, this time, 2 veggie burgers!!!!!
The kids were getting new carpet, so it was time to repaint the rooms.
Can you guess who’s room is which color?
Riley, never misses the chance to sleep with someone.
A night at the brew pub…..
And a day with family….again.
Amber fell asleep on my legs. That’s my foot, not hers.
She can sleep anywhere.
I give big pushes.
Time for Sophia’s birthday.
It was a nice day….
With plenty of relaxing time for the adults.
Kelli went to the pub to take pictures of Timmy’s newest family member.
Peter was there, too (go figure).
No longer an only child.
Timmy stated this was the first photo of the four of them together.
Ashley shows her tooth is loose the night before it fell out.
On Sophia’s actual birthday, I stopped by the house.
Time to make a wish!!!
Later, during bath time, Ashley had fun with her hair. Notice the missing tooth?
Another birthday, this one my mother’s.
It was a great night with a great sunset.
It was a great day with Can’t Hang. Be sure to check out the album “Can’t Hang @ Holiday Inn Pool Bar – Ocean City, MD” for more pictures.
The Electric co. Check out the album “The Electric Co. @ Pickles – Ocean City, MD” for more pictures.
Definitely a good time!!! Check out the album “Can’t Hang @ The Riptide Pool Bar – Ocean City, MD” for those pictures.
Those last three pictures were from our trip to the beach. Be sure to check out the album “Memorial Day Weekend 2010” for those pictures.
Back at home, and the door frame was finally getting fixed.
My parent’s stopped by on my birthday and we all posed for a picture.
For my birthday, my mother got me this sweet camera setup for carrying all my equipment at photography events.
For dinner that night we went to the Elkridge Furnace Inn.
While the restaurant is nice, I don’t see us going back.
The next day, I got my gift from Kelli!!!!
Taylor’s birthday is 5 days after mine (I told you there were a lot of birthdays in Spring).
Spiderman was the theme….
And the kids all wore their various costumes.
The joy of opening presents.
I had the wrong angle for getting a picture of the candles being blown out.
Check out one of the gifts Kelli and I got Taylor.
My father took a turn at a spin….
And Mathew gave it a go, as well.
Erin does great face paintings.
And there was a line to have the faces painted.
What child doesn’t love a trampoline?
The adults got in on the action, too.
We were trying to do a synchronized sitting pose.
Mathew and Erin had a turn bouncing each other.
If you had some, you would be eating it right now.
As my brother is happy to demonstrate.
They very rarely stay like this for long.
Erin and I made a run for some grub….
And while waiting for the food, watched the Belmont Stakes.
Kelli was at a party with some friends at the same time.
We’re good about splitting up the social activities.
It’s the only way we get so much done.
Peter was wet from….
Jumping in the kids pool!!!!
And generally just acting like a kid.
2 parties, 2 people, yeah, Kelli and I have it covered.
Kelli’s party had plenty of food and beer on tap.
I think it’s a rule with them that they always wear tye dyes.
Back at the bar with Erin and I, and someone bought shots.
See what I mean about the tye dyes?
Doug doesn’t like his picture taken, but Kelli took the pictures anyway.
Kelli ran a half marathon with some friends.
The (Melting) Pot Runners.
As an additional birthday treat, Kelli took me out for crabs.
In just under a minute the moon bounce inflates.
How you know you have an issue letting go of technology.
If you’re going to dress yourself, your favorite boots are what you should put on first.
Of course she faired much better with some help getting dressed.
Peter, I think you’re too big for the toy.
If you know know coffee, then you know.
Drinks at Victoria Gastro Pub.
We love wine….
And we love wine festivals…
So we’re always happy to help…..
Pour wine at the wine festivals!!!
Jan….
And Maura are always happy to have us.
Jill was there….
So we took our standard foot photo.
Old friend Kelly Stack was present as well.
We got together one evening for Peter’s birthday.
Showing off his new apron.
They had crab cakes for everyone!!!!!!
Good times were had by all!!!
Yet another blowing out of the candles.
Inside, Monica got comfy with Jillian.
Walter, catching the light just right.
Rob Russo came over and we had a Jam session.
After the Jam session, we headed to Hershey, PA for a Phish concert.
The lot was filling up….
And we were ready to do some tailgating.
Kelli bought a necklace from one of the local artisans.
It goes quite well with the one she already had.
There was so much to see walking around the parking lot…
Like this guy selling his artwork.
I was trying to catch the rays of sun just right in the background……
But after an afternoon of drinking…..
Was having trouble getting the shot just right.
Of course, when I did get it close, Rob was goofing off.
A few hours after we got there, and the crowd was getting thicker.
With the tempature dropping, Kelli decided to change into pants.
We made it into the show just as the music started.
We found a great place to stand.
The blow up phish fell on us, and Kelli was happy to set it free again.
Because, well, why not.
Find Kelli.
This one may be easier to find Kelli.
I had to find Kelli walking back through the crowd.
Well that’s all for the Phish show….
It was a really good time.
Kelli worked late one night……
And brought Riley along for company.
Looks like my pictures are getting “Rick Rolled”.
We met up with Jen and Joe for a concert…..
At Wolf Trap.
The first artist was State Radio. Be sure to check out the album “State Radio @ Wolf Trap – Vienna, VA” for those pictures.
We grabbed a picture in between artists….
And then settled in for the second half of the show. Check out the album “John Butler Trio @ Wolf Trap – Vienna, VA” for those pictures.
Ashley is graduating Kindergarten….
There was a slide show of things the kids had done for the year…..
And then the kids came out.
Hello to all my party people!!!!
There were lots of kids…..
And they all had a good time entertaining the adults.
Ashley even had a speaking part.
Afterwards it was back to the classroom for cake.
They get older so quickly.
Her teacher for the year…..
Mrs. Brusio.
My door is just about finished now. I added a storm door, as well.
After lots of piano lessons, it was time for Ashley’s first piano recital.
7 minutes of Ashley playing, if you’re interested.
Afterwards Cathy gave her a certificate of accomplishment.
All of Cathy’s students posed for a shot….
And then Ashley accepted her flowers.
Kelli and I had our 20 year High scool reunion. Check out the album “Centennial High School 20 Year Reunion” for those pictures.
Father’s day, and it was brunch at Crab Shanty, again.
Peter joined us for the grub…..
And was happy to take a family photo for us.
Back at the Worstell’s, we made cupcakes.
It was a great day outside for blowing bubbles…
So instead of 1 person making bubbles……
I thought it would be more fun to have 2 people making bubbles.
There were lots of bubble toys to play with.
A pool is always good for cooling off on a hot day…..
And splashing your sister seems to be a great way to enjoy the pool.
Lasagna is best when everyone helps to make it.
With dinner ready……
And the Booze gone….
It was time to eat!!!
When is Uncle’s Day!!!!
The kids love playing with the cameras. This picture was taken by Bridget using my cell phone camera.
The fun thing about this moon bounce, is that it supports the weight of an adult.
Of course, once one person does something fun……
Every single person….
Needs to do…..
The same thing.
Well that’s it for Spring 2010. The only thing left to do is peel back the layers of skin from being in the sun too much.
