Is it a surprise to see that our extended Memorial Day weekend started with the two of them in bed?
Kristi was in town, too, so we we hooked up with her for some drinks.
Cheers to the beers!!!
The crab cake was pretty good.
It was cold out, so Kristi borrowed my pull over.
Back at the condo, it was a beautiful day….
So I took Riley for a walk with my hands free system.
We passed by Ocean City’s finest….
Checked out the local ladies….
And then headed to the outdoor bar.
Riley is always a big hit at the bar….
With all the women wanting to say hello.
After that we did some shopping….
Before heading south again…..
And going home (nice door, right?).
All that walking, and Riley needed a nap.
Tom and Ava were in town, too.
That night Kelli and I checked out a new-to-us pizza place.
My review says it all.
The next day is was time to go listen to music and play photographer.
Classic Taxi came and picked us up….
And took us to the Holiday Inn…
So we could meet some old friends….
and enjoy the sounds of my new favorite band….
Can’t Hang.
Booby was kind enough to take me up to his room…..
Where Josh was taking a nap….
So I could get a great picture.
I love the beach!!!
Some of our local Ocean City friends.
It was a great day with Can’t Hang. Be sure to check out the album “Can’t Hang @ Holiday Inn Pool Bar – Ocean City, MD” for more pictures.
We even ran into T Lutz!!!
Mr. Ocean City himself.
After I paid our tab…..
Kelli laid around…..
While I called a cab.
We headed home for a little while…
And ran into Ava and Tom.
I let her take a few pictures….
Which I have been told I am crazy for allowing….
But how else is a child to learn?
After the stop home, it was back in a taxi…
For some great pictures of Kelli…
Unusual sights….
And a safe ride to see…
The Electric co. Check out the album “The Electric Co. @ Pickles – Ocean City, MD” for more pictures.
The police officer was not the subject of the picture, and the focus wasn’t co-operating.
Our man about town, Brian, gave us a lift home.
The next morning it was relax time for Kelli.
When Lori and Tom came out, I decided to join with my umbrella.
I sure do like that bathing suit, Kelli.
The water was cold, cold, cold…..
But that didn’t stop them from getting in for a few minutes.
There was a boat race going on….
With the start right outside our condo.
Very exciting…..and LOUD.
As for me, looks like I picked up a case of pink eye.
We headed up to the walk-in doctors for a quick stop.
After $130 and a bottle of eye drops, I was going to be fine.
From there, we went to see Can’t Hang, again.
Jamie and I danced.
Being the photographer that I am….
I was invited up to the room…..
That overlooked where the band was playing.
It also overlooked where Kelli was drinking.
Definitely a good time!!! Check out the album “Can’t Hang @ The Riptide Pool Bar – Ocean City, MD” for those pictures.
Kelli likes the way her arm looks in this picture.
After a day like that, it was nap time for Riley and me.
Nice trunk, Eddie.
Kelli spent a lot of the weekend working from the beach.
But that didn’t stop us from going out….
And having great food!!!
You know I love OC Wasabi.
Afterwards, it was over to Anthony’s for some choice beer selections.
Eddie and I caught the fireworks from our bayside balcony.
They were great and went on for about 20 minutes courtesy of Seacrets.
That’s all for that night.
The next day, it was more relaxing time.
Of course Kelli had to do some work.
But I tried to do as little as possible.
For dinner that night we headed to Ruth’s Chris in West Ocean City.
A few drinks…
Some lobster bisque soup….
Seared Tuna…..
And of course, lobster for Kelli.
Everything was SOOOO good!!!
We went to Seacrets to meet some friends of Kelli’s, but they weren’t there so we went home for the night.
The next day was a busy day of work.
We had two new beds put into the condo…..
And I had to replace the air conditioner.
The old one died after 5 years of renter/sea air abuse.
Let me tell you, the new beds are sooooooo comfortable!!!
And I love the new bed spreads.
I meant to send this to my cousin Robert, but forgot.
Riley has taken to the new beds quite well.
Although he still prefers to lay between your legs when he can.
He also loves to go for long walks in the city.
But we love to go for long drives to Dogfish Head in Rehoboth Beach!!
After some drinks, we walked down to the ocean…..
Getting a snack on the way.
Not too bad, but I prefer Ocean City.
We then did a little shopping before heading home.
The guys, just hanging out.
I was too slow to switch to the telephoto lens and get a great shot of the dolphins jumping out of the water.
That night we went to a house party at…..
Laurier’s house.
The place was right on a canal…
And everyone was enjoying crabs!!!!
Check out the table they had for beer pong.
Inside, I played some nine ball.
They had a crab pot in the canal, with dinner for the next day.
From there we headed to Bethany Beach to meet up with some other friends.
While Kelli stayed inside…..
I stepped outback to enjoy the night air.
And shortly after that, it was time to go home.
Well that’s it for this trip, I can’t wait to go back!!
