Heading out to Rumor Mill in EC to meet my parents for Kelli’s birthday.
We had a fine time.
My dad has a George Costanza wallet.
This is his wallet compared to mine.
For the night of Kelli’s actual birthday we went to Cinghale in Baltimore.
It was fun and the food was delicious!
We had like, 5 courses.
She was pretty schnockered by dessert.
I had port for my dessert. Yum.
It was a great evening!
We had so many apples this fall from our CSA.
One day we went with the kids and family to the Days End Horse Farm.
It was their fall festival.
They had all sorts of activities for children.
The rain didn’t bother them a bit.
Taylor and Ashley get up close with a fire truck.
They were pretty excited.
No one really cares if you cheat here.
But the kids took these games pretty seriously.
The kids show off their tattoos.
Having a blast in the moon bounce.
They had a great time.
Definitely more fun for the kids though:)
Getting up close with the horses.
Afterwards we took Taylor for an ice cream break.
OK enough of these.
Slowly I’ve been working on the basement.
Its a long project.
That constantly has me rearranging things to make run for the work.
Me and my brother’s family.
The outlaws come over one day for football.
I heard a funny noise that night and found this snake outside the basement.
Kelli went out one night and played Sarah Palin bingo during one of the debates.
They are never more than a foot from each other.
Mark and Scott Gray…looking a little…motley.
Kelli’s sister’s family.
Twilight Hotel rocked the 8×10 opening up for Victoria Vox. Click here for pictures.
Victoria and her uke. Click here for pictures.
Kelli uking.
In October, Kelli, Ralph and Amy all ran the Baltimore Half Marathon.
Walking to the start.
It was a really hot day.
Part of the route.
There were loads of spectators.
Find Kelli.
See them yet?
I waved. And then waited.
On race day they offer the Full Marathon, 1/2 Marathon, Relay, and 5K.
They made it easy to reconnect after the race.
I’d love to know what kind of balloon that kid asked for.
Done! Enjoying a well deserved beer.
The instructions for the disposable chip.
There were thousands of these on the ground.
Wearing their medals and feeling accomplished.
We were at that show.
After the race we hit Ryleigh’s Oyster Bar near Cross Street for their Oyster festival.
It was fun and delicious. We could have stayed all day.
There were oyster stations all over the bar.
Not very common post race grub.
The grilled calamari was amazing.
We also met this guy there. He was on an oyster eating expedition.
He carries this book with him.
We had a blast.
Ok enough of these.
As I said, the basement is coming along. My brother helped me work on the bathroom.
We got this done in a weekend.
Putting the floor in.
Hanging out one night with Brian Shadrick.
Hanging out one night at Aida’s bistro.
They had a wine and beer dinner that was outstanding.
Always looking fab.
This was the best dinner we’ve ever had there.
Starting to feel good!
They paired a glass of wine and beer with each course.
After each course the patrons voted on which drink we liked better.
Kelli contemplates.
This photo was used for an article in the Examiner. Check out the article here
This was a special veggie dish they made for us.
The chef was there to answer any questions.
Hugh Sisson of Clipper City hosted the event.
Homemade pasta. I’m hungry just remembering it.
We ended with a glass of port.
After the wine dinner we headed to OC. The next day we went to a wine festival.
We were volunteering at the Autumn wine festival in Salisberry.
As usual we were pouring for our favorite.
It was a freezing day.
Thankfully Jan gave us sweatshirts.
We laughed at this woman (at first).
Her nails were in spirit of the season.
Kelli needed a new toe ring while we were there.
It was an OK event. The weather made us not want to hang out too long.
Sophia and Ashley play with my old toys….
…while their mom and Kelli enjoy a beverage….
before heading out to a Bull Roast.
It was okay.
Sophia enjoys some time with her favorite Aunt.
They had activities for the kids.
For each game they played they got a stamp.
Then they got to pick out some goodies.
Feeling pretty darn successful.
Of course we had to hold all their crap.
Our high school friend Jim Overholser was there.
I have to be prepared for Halloween with lots of seasonals and of course, pumpkin beer.
Megan and Peter’s daughter Jillian, on her Baptism.
She was really excited for it.
Afterwards they had a luncheon at their house. This is her sister’s husband and kids.
Megan was a little overwhelmed.
Not me.
Savannah had a good time.
Courtney did the catering.
Peter ran around.
The joy of sisters.
Because you can never look too tough when taking your own photo.
After the luncheon we stopped in to Sharkey’s new place on main street EC.
We needed a real party.
It is always great to see Sharkey.
Kelli relaxes.
My October beer stash keeps getting bigger.
Candy in preparation for the trick-or-treaters.
Halloween day and time to carve pumpkins.
Of course its a little messy.
Everyone comes to our house for the big day.
We order in and then ship out.
Erin handles the face painting.
The Great Pumpkin always plays in the driveway.
Beer for adults, candy for tots.
Riley in one of his halloween costumes.
The kids are all set up to go door to door.
Our back yard always has a groovy fall canvas.
Ok maybe it took longer than a weekend to do the bathroom.
Nice shot. I mean really, can you be any more clichéd?
Dropping off Kelli at the airport so she can go to FL.
Kelli went to Florida one week to visit her grandma. She had a short stay in a nursing home.
Uncle Scott was there too. He’s demonstrating the size of the pizza he’s going to order.
Unlike Kelli, her Uncle, and her Grandmother, I did.
Another night at Sharkeys.
We all barhopped on main street.
One day Kelli chaperoned Ashley’s school trip to the aquarium.
She had a good time with her little friends.
And enjoyed the dolphin show.
Afterwards Kelli treated her to McDonalds.
I hope she appreciates her Aunt Kel!
This was one of our last hauls from the CSA (local co-op).
Riley enjoys the doggie bag Kelli brought home one night in OC.
Livin’ the life.
Lounging one night in OC.
The building in front of our condo looking kinda spooky.
This cab driver took us down to the renovated Hobbit. He was a trip.
The food there was amazing. We’re so glad its back.
Kelli loved the scallops.
The tuna was succulent.
We couldn’t not get dessert.
Highly recommend.
Riley loves walking on the beach.
So I got him a 50 foot leash.
He was perplexed by this horsehoe crab.
You can find great shells in the winter.
One of the best things about OC in the winter….no people.
He is definitely a beach dog.
But doesn’t ever go in the water.
Another great shell.
With a critter in it.
Beach bums, both of ’em.
Every year, the third Thursday of November, we celebrate Beaujolais Noveau at Tersiguels.
Kelli and Erin went to Copelands one day after watching the Twilight movie premiere.
Mark’s I-phone does everything!
I took Ashley over to my brothers one day.
While Kelli and her mom took Sophia to see Santa. This is her Christmas list.
She put it in the mailbox for Santa but did not want to see him or sit in his lap.
They never had all this stuff when we were little.
Coming home from hangin’ out with Taylor, and as usual, Ashley fell asleep.
For Riley’s birthday, Kelli made him eggs for breakfast.
Dave came to town one night so we all headed to Victorias for drinks.
It was drunken debauchery.
For Thanksgiving every year we hit Tersiguels for cocktails and appetizers.
Our usual gang is usually there.
Michele, Bruce, and owner Ferdinand.
Afterwards we go to Kristi’s to see some family.
Ashley, Jillian, Katie.
Cousin Christopher made the trip.
Kristi did a lot of cooking.
Cousin Barb and AJ.
Jillian and I.
The group shot.
Katie Kate and Aunt Kel.
OK enough of these.
Brian and CiCi came over to visit, so Kristi brought her kids.
They get along great.
Kristi shows how to do a somersault.
Hanging out.
What goofs.
They have no idea.
A night at the pub.
Dan showcases his singing.
I ran into an old family friend, Daniel Lisle.
We met my bro, Erin and Mark at LaPalapa after.
The chicas.
The weekend after Thanksgiving, on the rainiest day, we decided to get our xmas tree.
It didn’t take too long. We were the only ones there.
I cut it in no time with my cordless saw and hauled it off.
Setting it up wasn’t too traumatic either.
Kelli making something delicious for me.
Later in the month my mom has Thanksgiving at her house.
There was a Steelers game on.
Everyone was waiting so long they were starving.
So we drank a lot.
Isn’t it ready yet?
Amber sports her Steelers’ gear.
What happens when Amber takes pictures with a camera half her size.
Finally the goods are ready.
We had a kids table…
..and the grown ups table.
Recreating a Habicht photo, this time including Bobie Jo.
It takes forever to set up this shot.
My grandma and I.
OK enough of these.
Kelli brought home some turkey for Riley.
Mike’s birthday party.
Kelli brushed Riley out one day. He looked ridiculous.
Decorating the tree.
It really sets the mood.
Delci and Mike came from Cali for a few days to stay with us.
The two of them did the cooking for the 9th Annual Habicht Wine party.
The guys decided to stay out of the way and go out. It was freezing and Mike wore his Cali clothes anyway.
Sometimes its great being a guy.
That didn’t stop a soul from showing up.
Kelli, Kristi, and Ashley head out for the Radio City show in Baltimore.
Afterwards they came home and drew.
Scott Gray dreams on.
On a freezing cold nite, nothing beats a hot tub and a hot kiss.
Delci and Mike can trash a room just like we can. See what you get for leaving the door ajar?
Delci had a pregnancy craving for a roll and some sorbet at Victorias.
It was great having them in town.
We took them to see the lights on 34th Street in Hampden.
Those people go nuts.
I can’t imagine having a display like this.
Some houses are open to the public.
Afterwards it was fish and chips at Cafe Hon.
Meatloaf for Mike.
Kelli went over to Kristi’s to make Christmas cookies.
Everyone was being a helper.
We hit Megan’s and Peter’s for pre-game grub…
…before taking off to see the Raven’s play!
Peter covers up the logo on Kelli’s hat while I cover up Peter’s shirt.
We went for sushi for my company Christmas party, and Chris is not playin’.
It was a great time, especially since Kelli and Lindsay scored last minute invites.
They took the remains of Chris’s fish and made a soup.
My boss John is a great guy.
Afterwards a few of us went to Clydes.
Feelin’ pretty good.
It was a fun night.
My parents had us over one night to help decorate their Charlie Brown tree.
It is actually left over from last year.
Stringing the lights took 2 minutes.
My mom has hundreds of ornaments.
Get a bigger tree Mom.
It was a fine time.
Afterwards we went to a shindig at my brothers house. Bobie Jo brought her boobs.
Of course cousin Robert was there as well.
Mark and Taylor. Taylor, come to the dark side.
Amber and Erin.
The girls.
The guys.
The stunningly fabulous couple.
We’re done scopin’ out the fall scene. Meet you back in winter.
