We met Brian at LeeLyns one night after work.
Before heading to dinner to capitalize on restaurant week again.
Kelli had never been here.
We had the best table in the house.
This seafood bisque was incredible.
She couldn’t finish her crab cake, it was that big.
Dessert with homemade ice cream.
Another Edwards family tradition, making fried zucchini.
It is so good.
At the beginning of August, we had a craving for Tio Pepes.
Sangria makes a man do…interesting things.
My mom loves their chocolate souffle.
There is always something funny to laugh about.
Like this guy.
Chef Emilio always comes by to say hi to us.
I’m glad we didn’t get a ticket going home.
One day Kelli stopped by to see Laurie’s first baby.
While I went over to Brian’s to see his second.
This is Carolyn.
Kelli and I love summer walks.
Jenny Dinkle had her first party with her new name.
Mathew sent me this picture of Taylor learning the fun of NASCAR.
He got thrown off his motorcycle.
The rooftop deck next door was playing beer pong. Balls kept flying down on us.
I’m no fashion guru, but just say no to fanny packs.
Guys being guys.
11th losing season in a row.
Jenny mans the grill.
It was a nice time.
Kelli doesn’t want everyone knowing she was in here.
At 7pm.
Do you remember fun dip?
Hanging with Taylor at my brothers.
That would put anyone to sleep.
Fixing the mirror on my truck, thanks to my garage door.
The sunlight was just right.
Amber wanted a picture like her brother had earlier.
Is that the ice cream truck?
It is!
Trinity is hoping for a lick.
The last fun run of the season was a 2 mile relay.
Ashley accepts her medal like a gymnast.
All the kids were given a medal and allowed on the “podium”.
Kelli actually won for her age group and got a cool trophy.
Before our trip to Jamaica, I opted for a hair cut.
It must have worked for me. Click here for pictures of our trip to Sandals Whitehouse.
Getting the house ready to sell….
Sure is a lot of work!!!
CiCi and I decided to have some fun.
And Brian joined in, too.
He has some filter issues with his pool.
Nothing that a hose wouldn’t fix.
Carolyn Shadrick.
CiCi learning the camera.
This is my favorite picture of him. EVER.
CiCi being cute.
She is one smart little girl.
Kelli loves her camera, too.
CiCi has 3 dogs.
We went to Jules’ house one night for his surprise birthday party.
OK so he wasn’t super surprised. It was fun though.
Kelli eyes up the crabs he brought.
Her and Jules’ mom dig in.
Susan brings out the cake.
Make a wish Jules!
Kelli is still going at those crabs.
Jules and I go way back. It was great to see him.
Kelli met Jules when we were first dating.
OK last shot of the party.
This summer was a bumper crop of mom’s tomatoes. Kelli made 16 quarts of sauce.
He has great season tickets.
The last Ravens pre-game of the season and we hooked up with Rob Dudley.
Yard saling one day and we found Megan and Peter’s junk for sale.
They used their kid to attract people to their booth.
With tomatoes still needing to be picked, mom puts the kids to work.
Little migrant workers.
They do good work.
Ashley cleans and Sophia eats them.
One day I stole Kristi’s kids….
and took them to play with Taylor and Amber.
They had a blast.
This was Sophia’s first visit.
Guess what this is.
My parents got them a moonbounce.
The anticipation was high.
Is it ready yet? We’re waiting!
Let’s eat apples while we wait.
Freshly fallen from the tree.
Needing assistance to pick her own.
What you do for one, you do for all.
She napped for about an hour like this.
These 2 loved the moonbounce.
Again, she knows where to look and what button to press….
But hasn’t figured out yet…..
That it’s either one or the other.
Matt was happy to have Amber take his picture.
I couldn’t do this everyday, but it’s nice for an afternoon.
After naptime, time for TV.
Then Ashley conked out.
Sophia was playing with her face while she slept.
After a long day of fun, time to cap it off at the snowball stand.
One of those perfect summer days.
Kristi was a little nervous that I had them all day, but they lived.
Kelli and I stopped back again the next day, sans kids.
Well, their kids were there, but only two.
A view from the back yard.
She’ll figure it out eventually, she is only two years old.
But until then, it’s the close self portrait.
Hold the camera steady, Amber.
My brother’s technique for getting the apples at the top, wrap a rope and a branch and pull repeatedly.
Taylor self-portrait, he’s four years old, and has it figured out.
Its always fun watching someone else do all the work.
Check out the ground.
Good job Matt. Now we’re off to the out-laws house.
I decided to show Sophia how to ride a bike.
She loves me now.
A rare photo of her looking at the camera.
Special appearance by local Orioles groundskeeper, Michael Palulis.
The Palulis’ are getting their kitchen redone.
Back at Kelli’s mom’s, and the sangria is flowin’.
Courtney promises her dad she won’t have more kids.
He’s got a foot on her, no?
Savannah loves the new addition.
Toasting marshmallows on the porch.
One day Kelli and I found this place on our country cruise.
It was nice sitting outside.
The food was so so.
We ended up at Iron Bridge.
That place is best enjoyed in the afternoon.
Afterwards her mom and Mike took us to try the crabs at The Crossroads.
You can’t eat crabs without it.
They were exceptional. Highly recommend.
Every September Kelli’s family rents a place in OC.
It was a pretty spacious place and nice to relax in.
Ashley, majorly relaxing.
This was Kristi’s birthday weekend.
I got there later on so we had some late night Pizza Hut.
Kelli loves back scratches, and I’m into the sister on sister thing.
15 minutes until Kristi’s birthday, but she just can’t stay up.
With the weather not so nice, we opted for indoor miniature golf.
It was surprisingly fun.
The course was pretty cool.
Afterwards it was back to relax.
Have I told you she loves me now?
Kelli loves this picture.
Pedicure time! Which color do you want Ms. Ashley.
After the first day the weather was bad from Tropical Storm Hanna.
We had an ocean front view and just watched the water coming closer and closer.
Kelli and her sis wonder what to do.
Might as well get dressed and go out.
I suggested crabcake factory for Kristi’s birthday dinner.
Everyone loved it!
Afterwards we went to the arcade on the boardwalk.
Obvious cheating at skeeball.
The games are a little different from when we were young.
Look at all the tickets!!! The machine made it easy to count them.
The kids were so excited.
Showing off their winnings.
Walking the boards, and Kelli thinks her sis needs some drinks….
So we pulled ahead of everyone….
And headed into a great dive barm the Dutch Bar.
Happy birthday!!!
After a shot, Kristi wants to put her kids in this tire.
My brother is selling his old house, and these are the real estate pictures.
I won’t bore you with these..
Except to say that the house cleaned up well.
Riley is wondering where Kelli is.
CSI Alert! Children’s fingerprints on a TV under a blacklight.
Mark and I hang at the airport bar waiting for Kelli to get back from Florida.
Kelli plays a game on Mark’s phone. He thinks she’ll want one now.
We took Mark to The Crossroads for some crabs…
And then before heading to main street, Kelli needs to explore the woods.
Mark explores the outskirts.
At the Judges Bench, Peter aims a little high.
Timmy gets some love at the Pub.
Love all around, Sara!
It was one of those nights.
The Bench was packed.
Peter and Megan made a surprise appearance.
She’s actually doing the TV Guide crossword puzzle.
Can you see the fox?
After rental season, I can work from the beach.
We were actually in town for the Dogfish Dash in Rehobeth.
Enjoying some crab dip before packet pick up.
Kelli ended up with the wrong size shirt. Boo!
Just for running the race we got a discount on our bill.
Check out this motley crew.
We got hammered at Dogfish Head. Might as well go to another bar.
Chris and Lindsey brought their super fun friend, Krystal.
Fun with a camera when you’re drunk.
Lets do a group shot this way.
Feeling too good, with a race to run in 12 hours.
Kelli takes care of business.
Feeling better, we went to Coins to see local band, Pompous Pie. (Yes, Kelli parties like that)
Marco was jammin’.
They sounded great.
Our favorite member, T. Lutz on drums.
Marco belts out the harmonica.
Nothing like a woman who can sing!!!
We really enjoyed ourselves.
Marco goes all over the room while playing.
Pretty talented.
It was great seeing T.
Hanging out on the bands break.
Late night eats at Anthonys on their last day of the season.
The next morning, it was the Dogfish Head Dash!!! And that’s the last of the summer pics!
