Kelli and I have arrived in Baltimore for the wedding rehearsal of ….
Rob Dinkle and Jenny Chou.
Last minute details were gone over…
And then we all practiced the walk.
The rehearsal only took about 15 minutes….
With the majority of the time being spent standing around discussing the finer points of the way things were going to go.
The view from the room was great.
After the rehearsal, we all went to the restaurant in the hotel and had dinner.
Cheers to Rob and Jenny.
Dinner that night was great…
From start…..
Lots of new family on both sides.
To finish.
Jenny’s, “OMG, I’m about to get married” look.
Rob, on the other hand, seemed much more relaxed.
The next day, we arrived at our room for the night.
The room was well appointed…
With everything we would need for a night’s stay.
We had a great view from our room!!!
With only a few hours to go, we relaxed in the bar.
Rob called his parents to find out if it was too late to run away….
And seeing it was, we got dressed for the show.
Time to take that lonely walk.
Kelli saw Jenny in her suite, and got a picture of her before the wedding.
Looks like there was a focus problem with the camera.
See, this is why it was already too late.
The reception…
Like the rehearsal…..
Was short and sweet!!!!
I now present to you, Robert and Jenny Dinkle.
Half of the very small wedding party.
The smile of a woman who just got hitched.
The sweat of a man who just got hitched.
Cocktail hour was just down the hall in the hotel, where drinks were already being served
Rob and his father have a good laugh over the merits of marriage.
Looks like his mother joined in the laughing, too.
Because it was there, I guess.
Ah yes, the pictures I know you all love…
Formal family photos.
I’m guessing I shouldn’t have to say who is with which side of the family.
I got goofy during my pictures.
This is the closest they’ll get to alone time for a while.
The bouquet.
OK, enough of these for now.
Such rebels!!!!
Waiting to make their first entrance together.
Come on guys, time to get back upstairs!!!!
There were around 100 people in the room…
Waiting for the wedding party and…
Mr. & Mrs. Robert Dinkle!!!
I gave the best man speech…
To an anxious crowd….
And then we all sat down and introduced Jenny to the custom of tapping your silverware on your glass!!!!
Dinner was served…
and we had the sea bass.
Rob checks out how well the dress fits Jenny!!!
I have never seen her soooo happy.
The first dance…..
The brew crew table…..
The signing of the guestbook….
The copping of a kiss……
The celebration amongst friends…
The cutting of the cake…
The feeding of the cake.
Wow, that was an interesting run of captions.
Look at the size of her…..veil.
There was lots of drinking going on.
Rob’s brother, Dave.
Rob, looking like he is ready to be done with the photos.
He asked twice, so I took the picture twice.
By this point, everyone was really getting drunk.
And what goes better with drinking, than smoking?
Jenny’s outfit, round two.
Because one dress isn’t enough for a bride.
So when is our next trip to Bonaire?
There were more than a few people who mistook the guy on the left for Rob.
Rob tried to open a bottle with his ring…
But “Chewy” shows how it’s done…
with a flip of the wrist.
My ring is on the left, his pure titanium ring is on the right.
Yeah, that’s a big a$$ ring.
Trying to get drunks together for a picture……
Is always so fun.
Kelli and her movie date man.
Well, it was back to the room and the beautiful view of Baltimore to end the night.
And that’s all for the wedding, too!!!! Time for us to enjoy a day in Baltimore.
