Spring started with Kelli and Riley statying warm in the cold month of March.
A new local brew pub we found (Pub Dogs) that was just OK.
Coming home that night, I guess we wanted a picture together.
Always so beautifull!!
Hanging out with my brother, and Taylor snaps a few pictures.
I was teaching him the art of the self portrait.
After which, he went back to just taking picutres.
He wanted a picture of him with his truck and Riley.
Check out the bell bottoms on Kelli.
At the brew pub (the real one), we ran into Steve Montgomery.
At the time of this picture, I did not know they were getting married…
Nor did anyone else.
Steve sure is a happy guy.
Kelli gave me my Easter basket full of treats….
And then it was off to brunch on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
It was a Champagne brunch that was great!!!!
And the oysters were delicious, too!!!
Clouds in my coffee, clouds in my coffee.
The picture is crooked because I sat the camera on the front of my car.
Brunch that morning was at Bobby’s Restaurant in Cambridge, MD.
On the way home we stopped and said hello to my Grandparents.
They’re always happy to see us!!!!
Later it was over to Peter and Megan’s where we got to see Jillian’s room waiting for her to arrive….
….And the rest of the family, waiting for us to arrive.
Spring must mean love is in the air.
Check out Mike’s scar!!!
An evening at a new restaurant, Catonsville Gourmet.
While it was an OK restaurant….
Bruce and Michelle will agree that it wasn’t all that great.
Hanging out at my brothers house again, this time having fun with shutter speed.
Taylor wanted to join in the fun….
And then, so did Amber.
What are you lookin’ at?
This was their old computer desk…
And after a quick photography break…
We replaced the old desk with a desk from my house.
Riley assumed his position on the way home.
Out to see Victoria Vox one night. Click Here for those pictures.
Kelli must have thought it was cute the way we were both under the covers.
Clearly the, “Don’t bother me unless you need me”, look.
Looks like it was just one of our guy days.
We headed to Hanks Oyster Bar in Alexandria, Va one night for some food….
Drinks…
And some Victoria Vox. Click Here for those pictures.
My mother’s real estate office threw a party….
So we made sure to attend.
Hammered, both of them.
Of course, we weren’t far behind.
My brother, getting all the love at Tersiguel’s…
Where Erin and Mathew had escargot for the first time.
Freebies for Kelli from Nordstrom.
Out at Fletchers in Baltimore, MD to see Carousel Rogues (Click Here for those pictures)….
And Armed Elephant. Click Here for those pictures.
It took two years, and a 30,000+ gamerscore, but I finally got the RROD (Red Ring Of Death).
For those of you who are concerned he may jump, please note the leash tied to the seatbelt.
Riley shows Buddy who’s the boss.
Fun with perspective.
Ashley came with me to Taylor’s house one Saturday, and realized a dress was not good outdoor wear….
And quickly changed into some better play clothes.
The two of them are like two peas in a pod!!!
Ashley saw this dress in Ambers room, and had to try it on.
Of course, the costume changes didn’t stop there.
Who likes pizza??
Back outside, Taylor took Ashley for a ride.
And then Ashley tried it out for herself.
The note describes Amber’s preferred state…..
…..Which the FCC quickly decided was not apporpriate.
Ashley had fun jumping from the small wall….
And Taylor joined in the fun, too!!!
Is there a better way to watch a movie?
After the movie, they all went for walk.
Ashley was falling asleep on the way home….
So we stopped for her first ever snowball…
Her favorite flavor, cherry red.
She was getting cold, so instead of not eating anymore, she put on a hat.
While my brother went on a Disney World vacation, we watched Trinity.
Skateboarders in my office parking garage…
Reminds me of my own youth.
Birthday time…..
For Ashley Grace!!
You have no idea how perfect that cake is for her.
Cake time….
Family time….
Sister time.
I gave Ashley two bean bag chairs. Technically both are hers, so don’t tell Sophia.
The family came out…..
And worked a water stop….
For the Clydes 10K.
But like Tom Dohler, they only came for the free beer.
Soon enough, they’ll be a family of 5.
Dennis Albright was the race director.
Cafe de Parie for wine and Cheese….
How else would you spend April 20th?
A neighborhood being built near our house. Where Kelli is standing is where my office building would be.
Happy hour started at 16:20 hours, and we were having fun!!!
My gutters kept getting clogged…..
And this stuff (rain flow) has stopped that from happening.
Out for a nice evening of wine and food….
With two of our favorite proprietors, Mary and Joe…..
Of Aida Bistro.
After his haircut, we weren’t sure if we got the right dog back.
About to head out for the night.Guys weekend at the beach. Click Here for those pictures.
Hangin’ with family for Kel’s Mom’s birthday…
And it looks like Ashley got a hold of the camera…..
Because she is the only one this short.
She and I went for a walk to feed the ducks….
And she had fun being a kid.
The shot is posed, I asked her to smell the flowers.
Ah, the University of Maryland Football Gala.
The Kings were there as well.
Coach Friedgen and I hung out together.
And then he said hello to the King’s.
Of course like any smart man, he got in with the ladies as well.
A toast, to UMCP!!!!
Dinner was OK…..
But the dessert was really good.
Check out the bling bling of a championship ring.
Long-time running partners, Mike and Kel.
The night was coming to an end….
So we had another drink before leaving.
An episode of MythBusters featured a Confederate steam powered machine gun…..
One of which happens to be parked just outside of my town.
Cinco de Mayo!!!!!
Why the hands? May 5th (5-5) , of course.
Gumby, getting rowdy out front.
For posterity. Kelli went with her sister and Ashley to see her grandmother. Click Here for those pictures.
While Kelli was away, I has fun with Brian and Brian.
After moving my grandmother no longer had a garden…
So we built her one at my Uncle’s house.
Taylor was a big help.
With the garden raised up, she didn’t have to lean over so much to tend to the plants.
Mother’s Day stop #1…..
And #2.
May 13th saw Jillian Leigh Worstell become a new family member at 8 lbs 12 oz and 20 1/2 inches long.
Oh yeah!!!!
As in Van Halen….of course.
Isn’t that the face you make when you’re riding your motorcycle with your girlfirend on the back?
What sound does a train make, Amber?
Choo choo!!!!
Erin thinks he’s hot, what do you think?
“You better agree with me”, she says!!!
Posing for the family picture…
And Ashley wanted to join in the fun.
Total boobage.
My site is the bee’s knees.
I sat Riley down and then got about 50 feet away…..
And then called him to me to get this shot.
Again she couldn’t make it….
So again, we stopped for a snowball.
We went down to Annapolis, MD (Middletown Tavern) for some food….
And drinks…
With Scott Gray.
Wine in the woods was a wet one this year
But that didn’t stop Marty Willigan from having fun!!!
One of the better pictures of the three of them.
Doug the policeman, we see him at all the Howard County events.
Erin’s Cousin Matt came over and did some landscaping for me.
Always so happy when it’s cold outside.
It’s a Baltimore thing.
We met up with Lindsay and Chris to go out to see the new Indiana Jones movie.
At the Senator Theater.
Amber and I, hanging out together.
Caught eating chocolate.
Just doing some profiling.
OK, enough of Amber for now.
How about a picture of Riley?
Mathew helped Erin’s cousin Matt install some equipment racks in his landscaping trailer.
Once again, showing Taylor the art of the self portrait.
Taylor, from Amber’s perspective.
In her defense, he’s standing on the first step of the playground.
Taylor went for a ride with Mathew.
Trinity sports her womanly colors.
One of my favorite pictures of all time.
Nearing completion of the project.
Mark stopped by to hang out one afternoon.
I had a few beers and took a few pictures.
This is Elliot Greene, the man who does a great job mowing my lawn….
Which gives me more time to hang out with family.
Which can be relaxing, sometimes.
I love fireworks…..
And these looked very inviting.
We tried to make them do battle….
But that didn’t work, so we made them race.
It was my mother’s birthday, and check out the candles.
Seriously, I’m a great Uncle.
Happy Birthday, mom.
I picked up the train to go to…..
Baltimore to meet Kelli….
and some friends….and some friends….
For some good times….
And drinks….And drinks….And drinks….
Before heading across the street to an Orioles game.
They were playing the Yankees….
And I bet you wouldn’t see this for sale in New York.
The hat had a Yankees logo, so I blocked it out.
It started to rain…
But that was all part of the fun.
We left before the game started again, but the Orioles won.
A sad day for Kelli…
She was OK….
But the Del Sol didn’t survive the trip across all three lanes.
Just call me the Godfather.
Such an odd assortment of goods for a barkeep.
Our usual group at Tersiguel’s.
A day in the sun at the Chesapeake Bay Wine Festival.
A day in the sun at the Chesapeake Bay Wine Festival.
Cygnus wines.
We had a great time, and I got to wear a new hat.
Afterwards we slipped into Hemingway’s Restaurant….
For a few beers and a picture with creative use of the flash.
When I closed the door for Kelli, her hair got stuck in the door.
We stopped into my grandparents house on the way home, as they are always happy to see me.
Getting the last few things out of KELSSOL, and saying goodbye.
We listened to the radio broadcast on our noise cancelling headphones.
I think I need to get the kids their own camera, so they stop taking a million pictures that I have to sort though with mine.
Wow, Sophia is actually playing with me.
I got Ashley with the hose….
And then she tried to get me.
Hanging out at my brother’s new house for the first time.
The kids sure do love Aunt Kelli.
Heading into B-more for the Honfest.
Kelli decided to go all out, and get her hair done for the event.
While that was being done, Scott and I walked around. While that was being done, Scott and I walked around.
By the time we got back, she was almost ready.
Check out the do.
Check out the chair.
The rain was coming, so we ducked into a bar for some beer…
Which helped Kelli really get into “Hon” mode.
But with the rain, we needed to protect her hair….
And now she was really looking the part….
With a pair of glasses, she’s all set!!!! (BTW, does that not look like her mother’s smile?)
Festival food.
Festival shopping.
Festival wedding.
Festival wedding.
The more gaudy, the better.
Not really a Baltimore thing…..
But crawfish were worth a try.
Kelli, enjoying the music of the All Mighty Senators.
Honfest founder Denise Whiting and Kelli enjoying their Hon-ness.
I’ve had a few hats on this set of pictures, haven’t I?
That’s my Hon-ey.
Father’s day, and Kelli is leaving to see her grandmother again.
Taylor, he did this self portrait without any help or guidance from me.
Moving Taylors bed from the old house to the new one.
I leaned the seat back and took the headrest off so he could see out the front….
Instead of staring at the back of a seat.
We were in the Poconos for his birthday, so I gave him his presents a week late…
One of which was a flash light for use in his fort.
Passing my Hot Wheels passion on to the next generation.
We played the rearrange the furniture game.
From the very first wine party we threw.
I got on Taylor’s bike and was chasing him.
Father and Son on Father’s day.
We went for a walk in their neighborhood….
And saw the firetruck his next door neighbor has in his driveway.
Afterwards, I stopped by my father’s house to wish him happy Father’s Day!!!
A ladies luncheon at the Oasis Cafe. The food is great! The conversation not as much.
Meanwhile, I had Kristi and the kids over for dinner.
Kelli was away, and her sister made a great substitue.
One last stop at Bruce’s house to end the Summer. Time to drink some wine, catch you next time!!!!
