Heading to the beach for another guys weekend.
We stopped on the way down to grab some pizza.
We also stopped to get some supplies before getting to the condo.
It was then time to relax.
Chris checks out the Journal, knowing as a first timer, he has to add his own comment before we leave.
Chris, do you remember why the newspaper was in the picture?
About to head out for the night.Guys weekend at the beach. Click Here for those pictures.
Our first stop was 18 blocks south.
I guess he had been here before.
It’s a crime in some countries to serve Guinness in a Pabst glass.
This picture of women swimming in their underwear almost got us in a fight.
Even zoomed in, it was too far away and too dark to get the picture focused.
The guys telling me not take pictures (which I have a legal right in public to do), were all talk, so we went to the next bar.
Small bladder boy #1….
And #2.
We did a quick shot….
Found our spiritual guide….
And then found some live music at…..
The Purple Moose, of course.
Looking at the moon, we could see it was getting late…
And when we got back and checked the clock, we found it was indeed late.
Light-weight #1….
And #2.
For me, it was time for some late night eats.
The next morning we sat around for a while and did nothing.
I then went and bought a new table, to replace the one someone broke last season.
Chris got rid of the old one for me.
With that work done, it was time to…
Shotgun a beer!!!
After a few more drinks, we walked a few blocks south to Fish Tales.
The fish tacos are sooooo worth the trip.
Mmmmm, Mmmmm, good.
Chris recieved this text message while we were drinking. He shared it with me, so I’m sharing it with you.
Chris ran into his Aunt so they posed for a quick pic.
Boston fans suck.
The bartender tried to tell me that the cups in between my fingers were one ounce each.
With alcohol taking hold, Mark began to act goofy.
Chris, however, was cool as a clam at high tide.
I bought a football at the store…
And we had some fun playing catch.
Chris, finishing his job of throwing away the old table. (everyone gets a job during guys weekend)
I bought some olives (they sucked).
Chris bought some cigars (they rocked).
Men….
…being men.
Ah yes, life is good.
I smoked mine about halfway, but Mark likes to smoke his a little further.
You know you’re drunk when you start posing for pictures like this one.
Mark followed suit with the Theodore Kaczynski look.
I never saw him wear the Boston logo until AFTER they won the World Series.
Not peppered, but “pepper red”.
A game Chris had us playing which he called “bottle caps”.
If you threw the bottle cap into your opponents cup, they had to drink.
Find the bottle cap.
In case you didn’t find it. (BTW, that shot took about 15 tries before I got the one I wanted).
Done with throwing bottle caps, it was time to throw the football.
All three of us in the “just before we head out” shot.
The door gave Chris a hard time all weekend long. He would try to open it for about a minute before asking Mark or me to do it.
We walked out to the beach first….
To take in the wonders of nature….
Before turning and heading towards the bars.
Our first stop was for some grub…..
Well, not so much grub, as great sushi!!!
We then decided that some Karaoke was in order….
And there happened to be a karaoke bar across the street.
“Brandy (You’re A Fine Girl)” by Looking Glass.
Chics dig Karaoke!!!!
Chris having fun with the camera….
When I went to the bathroom.
There goes my Protégé .
Karaoke soon wore on us…..
So we decided to call it an early night.
Of course, that just meant we were going back to the condo to drink our own beer.
Wide angle lens……
Stalker lens (as Chris liked to call it).
The un-posed…..
And the posed.
He smiling because he got the door open by himself for the first time all weekend.
Well, that and because the pizza had arrived.
Well that’s all this time around. We’ll be back next off-season!!!!!
