Fall 2007 started with a trip to a Raven’s game.
Rob checked to make sure he had all his supplies…
And then went back to drinking with Rob.
Heading into the stadium, you can see the fan favorites.
The game was about to start…
So I snapped a picture of Rob in his seat…
And then sat back and enjoyed the day.
This is to give you an idea of where we were sitting.
Thanks to the cheering of Bender and myself, the Raven’s won.
For Kelli’s birthday, I took her here…
Where we enjoyed good drink
and good food!!!
Hau`oli La Hanau (Happy Birthday), Kelli!!!!
Ohhhhhh, what a lucky man, he was.
Hanging out at Peter’s place for his birthday.
He has a place on Main Street Ellicott City….
But it’s a pain to get to the roof.
He is a Star Wars freak.
Fresh from the Franklin Mint.
Sean was there to help celebrate.
As was Bill.
Peter has a light saber that lights up.
Looks like Dinkle in the Dunkel.
Timmy’s wife and Kelli get comfy.
Peter had fun with his light saber on the roof.
She asked me not to show her face.
It was fun to look at everyone walk by.
Kelli and Peter from the top….
And the bottom.
A nice night found us at Nick’s for….
A great view….
And some crabs!!!!
This was the night before we left for
And then I took one more!!!!
Hanging out with the family….
And all the women went in to make me lasagna.
This is how Uncle Scott takes care of children…..
So Mathew and I can play video games.
Kelli and I head out for another night dining out….
And this time she had crab stuffed lobster!!!
I went with the crab cakes.
Your choice of creme brulee for dessert
working on finishing the basement, and this is the old insulation that needed to come down.
Always bring them flowers.
Out with my parents to see a 3-D movie.
Before the movie started, I asked everyone to put on their glasses for this picture.
Stylin’!!!!
My mother, with two pairs of glasses.
Afterwards, it was out for some Tapas.
Fresh figs!!!!
A night out drinking with Peter.
Concept design for the Halloween toss.
This next set of pictures were all taken by Taylor.
I told him he could take pictures…..
of whatever he wanted….
but he just needed to make sure….
that his pictures…
had a subject.
Afterwards, I then gave him a quick lesson on framing a shot.
We went outside, and I took a picture of Taylor and Amber in the rain…
And Taylor playing in the water.
The next day, Kelli and I took Ashley to a farm.
Ashley took this picture of us.
It was a great Fall day, and we were meeting…
My parents there for some fun.
Best picture of Taylor and Ashley together, yet!!!
The Habicht women (only one born with the name).
The tractor pulled up…..
And it was time for a hay ride!!!
The family Cheung.
The family Habicht.
Taylor liked my sun glasses….
And my father likes throwing hay.
Amber found a comfy spot.
When the hay ride was over, it was time to pick pumpkins.
I assure you, there were some tough decisions to be made.
How to safely drive with children.
There was also a straw maze that Ashley and Taylor had fun enjoying.
Amber ran around, as well.
A good height for adults to find their children.
The maze lent itself nicely to games of hide-n-seek.
I took about 30 of these in 60 seconds, and this is the only one in which they were all looking forward.
After a short break to refuel….
And rest a little….
Kelli and I took a few last pictures of us….
And the rest of the family….
Before goodbyes were said….
And we headed on to more adult themed fun.
Kelli and I model the tools of destruction for the day.
Yes sir, I will thank you kindly for my first beer!!!!
At first, I thought their name was “Snackteria”, but it seems to be “Edelweiss Band”.
The place was well packed with drinkers……
And people of other walks of life, as well.
This Jerky had fish jerky from Mr. & Mrs. Jerky.
If you’re going to have a bathroom like this, why not just install a trough.
I needed to get some cash, but the ATM needed money as badly as I did.
With nothing to do but wait, I spotted these hotties nearby…..
And asked a couple of them to pose with me.
Yes, I know what you’re thinking.
Big tobacco was there to give away free samples….
So I tried a pinch of the poke.
The pouches keep things nice and neat.
The name of the beer says it all.
At 21% ABV, everyone wanted a taste.
And Kelli and I were sure to get ours.
98 Rock sponsored the biggest beer belly competition.
On our way home, we stopped and said hello to my grandmother.
She won all the money in the card games we played.
We left a note and a picture for Uncle Rich and Aunt Bernice.
Howard County’s Taste and Auction event.
We went with the in-laws…
And did some bidding at the auction.
But alas, Kelli was too slow to raise her hand, and we didn’t win.
Oh well, maybe next time.
Afterwards, we stopped at Tersiguels for a drink.
And saw Peter when we were leaving.
Women don’t like to be photographed in their underwear…..
But a bathing suit is fine.
As you can tell, Kelli went to see her grandmother in FL, and Aunt Judy was there, too.
Kelli didn’t take too many pictures while she was there….
And this was her attempt at the “food shot”.
I was happy when she came home!!!
Mathew and Erin came over so we could all go to a Halloween party together.
Mathew and I were dressed as the same person, so he painted his toe to match mine.
I’m before, he’s after. The girls are pixies.
Mathew shows the locals how to play beer pong.
The girls headed outside for some ice luge shots.
Our host Chris (on the left), got in on the action, too.
Kinda funny.
I asked them to pose in the likeness of their character.
Suck it down!!!!!
Kelli, shortly after a reversal of fortune.
Love, exciting and new.
Habicht Halloween!!!
Have you figured out the before and after yet?
I’d like to have a taste of those pixie sticks.
They were drinking red bull….
And eating oysters.
Thanks Chris for having us over!!!
As always, these things are very….
tight….
In the front, too.
Halloween brings out the paparazzi in the family.
The kids love to come to Uncle Scott and Aunt Kelli’s house….
Where we go all out for the night.
Everyone say cheese before you go trick-or-treating!!!!
They are like two peas in a pod.
These two are still trying to figure out why they are dressed in an odd way.
Erin carved the pumpkins…..
by hand….
without a stencil.
She also did the face painting as the children came in for treats.
The kids love to stop and watch “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”…
And Taylor had his own seat.
Notice the bean bag toss in the background? The prize was a pumpkin ale.
Erin poses for the picture, Amber, for the food.
Out at bare bones, and Kelli wanted a more serious picture of us…
So I took this one.
My gas fireplace never really did a good job of heating the house….
So I called Don, and he came in to replace mine.
Ventless, efficient, and warm.
Tersiguel’s for Beaujolais Nouveau.
Can you can-can?
Sara’s job was to add salt and pepper to the food.
Opps, I forgot to take a picture of us, so I snapped this one in the car.
A day at Boordy winery for wine and good music by…
Victoria Vox. Click here for pictures.
Ah, the good times we have together.
On the way home, it was to my grandmother’s again for some cards.
That is her, “Are you going to put down the camera and bet?” look.
I bet, I lost, but with her, I’m a winner.
This is Kelli’s, “I’m too drunk, don’t take a picture.” look.
Sharkey making us drinks….
While we relaxed and enjoyed Thanksgiving.
This is Ashley taking pictures…
because I know I’m not that short.
AJ and Ashley.
Uncle Scott and Ashley.
Sophia and her grand-ma-ma.
Ashley and I went for a walk.
And Christopher came out to spy on us.
She has a fascination with leaves.
We all sat down and enjoyed some pie.
Then back outside Chris tried to scare me.
Trying to get everyone together for a picture…
Is always a fun time.
Another series from Taylor.
He took pictures of all his things. Hi hammy the hamster.
He has too many toys.
Us, of course.
I took the camera back (notice his look) so I could get a family shot.
Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Brian Shadrick came over and we played with my Wii.
Over at Bruce and Michelle’s house for Hors D’oeuvres….
Wine from his wine cellar, and a movie. (I forgot the picture of his kick-ass theater room).
Framing the basement….
Mathew, my father, and Taylor came over to help.
It was a great day to be working.
This picture will go with the others above the entrance to the basement.
Steve Kilgallon’s band.
Christmas tree hunting….
And we seem to have found a tree.
I made her do some of the work…
On this picturesque day.
Trimming the tree!!!!
Kristi and Ashley stopped by…
But after they left, it was back to work
So we could get the house ready for the wine party.
Pete and Kristi were the first to arrive.
This years party was kept to a small intimate group.
The party had a tendency to get out of control in the past…
And by keeping it small this year…
We all had a better time.
This is almost everyone.
It’s good to be the King.
Music was downstairs.
Scott and the Gray pillow.
Just after midnight, and the party was over….
Or was it? Brian D stayed late, and we played video games.
A night in Baltimore to see…
Victoria Vox. Click here for pictures.
Always so beautiful.
If you like a ukulele lady, a ukulele lady like-a you.
A picture to show that one day Mathew and Taylor stopped by.
Mathew picked up trains from my parents house…
So he could build a train board at his house.
We were also doing some pre-Christmas setup.
Taylor checks out the horn on my grandmothers walker.
Christmas always brings the fire department with candy canes for the kids.
And this year Santa brought a dog for Kelli. The first picture of Riley.
A party at Mike and Dena’s, and the power went out.
We brought out the candles…
And enjoyed the quiet darkness.
A well lit shot before leaving.
Back at my parents to decorate the tree….
And it looks like Taylor has the camera again.
Always finding a subject.
Keep in mind, he is only three years old….
And frames the shot all by himself.
The camera is a little heavy for him, so the pictures aren’t always straight…
But he does a great job.
Of course, he needed a picture of all the presents.
Well, that about wraps it up for Fall 2007.
I tried to get in the last picture, but it didn’t work…
So this one will be the last one!!!
