How else would you expect us to start Fall….
Then by in a bar drinking.
Drunks helping drunks walk.
Just call me “The Godfather”.
Sophia and I enjoy a moment together.
I bet she has to tell people how to spell her first name her whole life. BTW, I call her Sophia, because her middle name is Sophia and I like it better….you should do the same.
Pete being a swell guy and leading the kids out to the car in the rain.
Who’s birthday????
Kelli’s birthday!!!!
Mark and I looked on….
And Stewie talked about putting his foot somewhere….
So we joined in the celebration.
That night Kelli and I went out to dinner….
And had a great time…..
Enjoying all the restaurant had to offer.
The Oceanaire……highly recommended.
See the blood on his shorts?
He cut himself with a reciprocating saw….right after he was told to leave a site for not having proper saftey equipment.
My parent’s took Kelli out for her birthday, too…
And while the food preparation was entertaining……
It was more fun watching my father play Dance Dance Revolution 3.
My Grandmother’s porch needed to be replaced…..
So my father….
Brother….
And I were more than happy to help.
As you can see, I kept busy taking pictures and telling them what to do.
My Grandmother kept busy, too, preparing her black walnuts.
When it was close to being finished, I took this picture….
Printed it on the printer I brought…..
And framed it before I left.
The family headed out to Larriland Farm for a day of fun.
The farm is very kid friendly……
With a small petting zoo type area….
And a hay ride.
Taylor decided Erin needed some more straw…..
While Ashley (named after her Uncle) was not quite sure what to do with the straw….
But got a quick lesson from Mathew on proper usage.
Yes, it was just that relaxing….
And even more so for others.
They certainly do look a bit alike.
After the hay ride everyone pigged out.
Ashley gets a little help from her favorite Aunt.
There also was a straw maze for children….
That both Ashley….
And Taylor enjoyed running around in.
Lots of hide and seek action.
Slow on the draw, and I missed the kiss.
Later, we went to the orchard on the property…..
And enjoyed some fresh apples.
Made fresh from our garden.
Waking up TOO EARLY in the morning to drive Kelli to the Army Ten Miler.
She headed off to the race, and I never saw her again until after she finished, so no other pictures.
Monday Night football, and I invite the fathers and Mark over to watch the game on the big screen.
There was a little pool shooting as well.
The offical start of finishing the basement came with fixing the leaking basement.
Not from above, but from underground.
I was having my drain tile replaced.
So they pulled up the dirt and concrete…..
And put in the new drain tile
As well as a second sump pump.
A bon-fire at my brother’s that night.
Burn baby, burn.
Erin and Amber kept warm.
The next day, the guy came back to finish the basement…
But Kelli made sure to stay clear while the work was being done.
That night, I did the photography for Freestyle Salon’s “Hairball”.
Some of the family joined in the fun.
We headed to PA one weekend for the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire.
We stayed in a cabin right down the road….
While Erin, the Kids, and….
A few other’s stayed in a camper.
Shutter was open for 8 seconds while I opened and closed my eyes.
Drunk and goofy.
The next morning we made our way over to the faire…
But some people couldn’t quite stay awake.
Brew Pub….yeah, that sounds like us.
I guess it’s a dish some women like.
So we found the ale….
Had a drink….
Made note of how we have to act when ordering our next beer….
And then made room for the next beer.
I must say, I’ve never seen a spot-o-pot like that one.
Women on money in America….it just never seems to work.
Taylor, enjoys riding on shoulders….
And playing in dirt….
And eating whatever his father gives him.
Bobby, enjoying someone’s meat.
Looks like I need a refill.
I think Robert found a hair, and it clearly is not one of his.
Mathew with the obvious joke…..
At least Bobby thought it was funny.
Kelli having never held a child that young before….
Pulls off the feat with ease.
Her money, not his face.
We were completely hammered by this point….
But felt inclined to do some sort of oyster shooter.
Bobby passes judgement.
This is where we stayed.
And that is the end of the Renn Fest.
My old boss Mark came to town, so I had a drink with him.
Some family came to town…..
So we had a drink with them, too.
A traditional memory matching bar game.
The next morning I made breakfast before they headed home again.
Halloween had arrived….
So I stocked up on supplies….
And we had the family over for fun.
I like the fresh roasted pumpkin seeds.
I setup the projector again for the kids to watch….
And I had some help doing my test run.
I had to take several shots of everyone….
Because no one would stand together long enough….
For one big group shot.
I gave out 3 cases of beer to the adults that came.
Because Kristi can’t make up her mind on one costume.
Rob and I head to Delaware to see…
G-13….
At the south of the Mason-Dixon…..
Punkin Chunkin.
This is where various devices are constructed to fling pumpkins as far as you can.
I assure you, it sounds far better than it is.
There were some cool toys there….
And some funny ones……
And some REALLY BIG ONES…..
But you’d be better off with the “made for home viewing” version.
Because it was there.
Traffic was about as fun as the rest of the event.
We stopped by Rob’s Parent’s place on the shore…
And then headed home for the day.
The carpet was 10 years old…..
And I was happy to see it go.
I love new carpet….
And the way it looks.
Partying twin powers, activate.
Where would you go if your range was 168 miles?
Maybe somewhere you could see this?
A wedding….
With great food…
and Beautiful women.
It was a friend of Kelli’s, Eirini, and her husband to be, Mike.
There’s the lovely couple now.
Eirini stopped by to say hello….
And I joined in for a shot.
The food was great…..
And the newlyweds were in love.
A surprise party for Megan…
And she WAS surprised.
Lot’s of family and friends…..
But everyone got her a purse.
A decanter of wine…..
that Walter stole the wine from.
Hey look, Peter spelled her name correct on a cake.
Blow baby, blow.
The party was hosted by Susan.
And Kelli was sure to be in attendance.
Why is this plate burned?
Because instructions were not followed.
Skrow at the 8×10 in Baltimore.
He was opening for New Riders of the Purple Sage….
So Kelli and I went to see him.
He also ran sound for the New Riders.
Skrow, in his element.
In case you’re a fan.
OK, enough of those, lets move on to something different…..
Like Kelli’s pink hair….
or escargot at Tersiguel’s in Ellicott City……
or Ashley being a kid.
Kinda cool picture of her.
Kristi trying to hide the food in her mouth.
Oh, BTW, this was Thanksgiving.
We stopped by my brother’s house to say hello, as well.
Everyone has the last name Habicht.
Mark and I picked up some good eats from Annapolis Seafood…
And ate well while playing video games.
Out drinking, but Kelli forgot her license, so no entry for us at the Green Turtle.
Yes, that is a rotary phone, and it’s the only phone in her house.
Of course, this was at my Grandmother’s….
for the traditional Sunday after Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving celebration.
Mathew and I taught Taylor how to play pool.
My father, me, my brother, and my Uncle.
As always, the food was great….
And the family was better.
Like father, like son.
A nice family shot of my brother’s family.
My grandmother enjoying the company of her great-grand-daughter.
My Grandmother wanted to give Kelli more food.
We went to Tio Pepe’s in Baltimore…..
And as always, the food was great….
And the family was a little nutty.
Kelli and I headed out to pick out a christmas tree….
And found one that we thought was perfect.
So I cut the tree down….
Hauled it back to the car….
And set it up in the house….
With a little help from that special gal of mine…..
A picture of Kelli and I in front of the tree must mean it’s time for the wine party, again.
I took this picture for use on their Christmas card.
Kelli’s book club.
Two sisters and a mother, yeah, life is that good.
Kristi, not wanting to come too far out of the water.
You know I love these pictures….
But enough of that, are you ready for some football?
We headed into Baltimore to watch the Raven’s play….
And tailgated for a few hours first.
Looks like Kelli dropped something.
With kick-off looming, it was time to head to the game…
But not before a quick stop for a cheesy picture.
Scott thinks it’s funny he’s in the wrong line.
Raven’s Stadium (4 images stiched together).
Enjoying the effects of tailgating.
Kelli getting into the game….
Which was easy thanks to our great seats.
Of course we weren’t the only ones with great seats.
So we got together at half time, and had a beer together.
Then it was back to the game….
The fun….
And the cheerleaders.
With this win, the Raven’s clinched a playoff spot…..
And we were happy with that.
Well, that’s all for now, hope you enjoyed. (for the record, there were ~300 pictures that didn’t make the cut, and it took me about 2.5 hours to do the captions)
