Arriving in Miami, and Dan and I used the valet service at the restaurant….
Then headed out back to meet everyone.
After dinner, we met in the hotel lobby….
Which was painted like a sky….
Then headed out back for some beers.
Not being satisfied with the hotel bar, we headed for downtown, hurricane rattled, Miami.
Why is Doug running?
Because he thought he saw a hot chic on the other side of that fence.
The walk was too far, so we grabbed a cab….
And made the trip to the beer in no time.
We went to a bar called Mangos….
The whole place was done with black lights….
And hot women danced on the bars.
Yes, HOT women.
Well, what are you going to do about it?
I decided to watch, that’s what.
And it just keeps getting better.
Needless to say, this place was a sausage fest….
With good reason, of course.
Tired of the tease, we headed back.
Dan sang to us the whole way….
Including the elevator…..
But we didn’t let that stop our fun.
BTW, we were there for work stuff….
But I bet you don’t want to see work, so this is dinner the next night.
Wednesday morning, and it’s our free day for team building, and we enjoyed the morning from our balcony.
Mike liked the look of the boardwalk….
And decided to go for a run.
I would have gone too, but I didn’t have my running shoes.
Doug came over, and we headed out for the day.
There were lots of things going on, but….
The group I was with was going shark fishing.
Mike getting the beer for the trip.
Our Captain’s name was “Mark the Shark”.
A little hurricane damage….
And a little more.
Hurricane Wilma tore things up in Miami, but Shaq’s house seemed OK.
Check out the Shaq statue.
This was the other boat on our trip, more on them later.
First mate Steve gets the bait ready, while Mike enjoyed the view.
Rule number 5 wasn’t a problem….on our boat.
Top side the guys were drinkin’….
And down below we were goofing off.
Dan caught the first fish of the day, but not the biggest.
Nothin’ like just loafin’ on a boat….
Good friends make it even better.
We spotted a dolphin….
The other boat was a different story. As a note, Tim, the catcher of this fish almost broke rule #5, but went overboard instead. (photo: Eric Matthys)
But other than that, not much else….
Trust me, he’s just posing.
So we’re paying “Mark the Shark” to drive HIM around?
On the way in Jon caught one….
As did Mike….
And Doug….
But I got the biggest, a kingfish at 27 inches.
Oh yeah!!!!!!
Look at the teeth on him!!!
The sunset was looking good….
So Jon and I jumped in the shot.
Later that night, Mike gets ready to go out.
We all jumped in a limo….
And headed to south beach….
For some dancing….
Drinking……
Walking….
And just some good ol’ fun.
They’ll tell you we were there becuse they serve good drinks….
But you and I know the real reason we came here.
The shooter girl.
On the way out, I checked some of the latest in women’s fashions.
We stumbled in that night around 2:30am….

We had one more day of work….
Then it was time to pack up and leave.
Mike and I caught a shuttle back to the airport….
And of course, had one more drink before we hopped on the plane.
