Spring Part 2 finds me back in Nashua for work.
We set up a LAN and played HALO on the PC.
To celebrate our fun times, we went out and had Mexican food and margaritas.
Of course some had tequila.
Another night, and no big surprise to find us eating and drinking at a company function.
Back at the beach with Pugs and John.
Ha ha ha, just kidding!!!
Nice ass, dude.
Kelli takes a moment with her long lost Aunt….
Than another with her not so long, but definitely “lost” Aunt.
Would you expect the women in this family to be anywhere but the kitchen?
Dinner was a great homemade meal, just check out that crab cake!!!
OK, everyone in!!!
You might be a redneck.
I’ve got the heart and soul for this one.
If I close my eyes, it doesn’t really exist.
My parents were in town also, but they were staying in their RV.
Kelli and I stayed in the Antigua thanks to the Keighley’s generosity. (Our place was rented)
Jane and Mora of Penn Oaks at Columbia, MD’s Wine in the Woods.
Just in case you were wondering what county Columbia is in.
Doug, an ex-boyfriend we run into at various Howard County events.
The brew crew enjoys wine, too.
Our opinion hasn’t changed.
What happens when you drink too much wine.
WTF!!!!
Some people like cheese with their wine, Joe likes toe cheese.
Enamored to be hammered.
Well what do we have here?????
I take a lot of pictures, and it was time to upgrade.
The very first picture with the Canon EOS 20D camera.
It was dinner on the deck that night.
Self portrait.
So why are there two “Geek Squad” cars together in a parking lot?
And why is there a long line for a movie….
Maybe it has something to do with these people watching the other 5 movies…..
Or the fact that Peter is somewhere besides home, work, or the bar.
But judging by the dorks…
In their dork costumes…..
It must be the opening of the final Star Wars movie.
5am in the morning, and we’re at one of our favorite restaurants, Tersiguel’s.
With the Chef Michel Tersiguel as our guide, we went to the Maryland Produce and Seafood markets.
He instructed on how the French subtly flip off Americans.
Just kidding. What he really did was show us all different types of food….
And how to tell if it is fresh.
My lens keep fogging going from the 35 degree store rooms to the 65 degree outside weather.
It was well worth it though.
Nice melons, Kelli.
All the food was just-off-the-truck fresh.
A choice cut of tuna.
How about some halibut?
Maybe some black sea bass is what you prefer.
The local favorite, Maryland Blue Crab.
Lobster anyone?
Afterwards, it was back the restaurant for a breakfast of the foods we just saw.
Oh yeah!!!!!
Brian Shadrick stopped by to show us his new truck.
The kids in my neighborhood being kids.
Bender got a new kitchen. Remember the old one?
It was going to be a day of fun, yeah right, spare me.
Showing the difference between color….
And black & white with the camera.
Check out the macro function.
So we loaded up the car, and headed out.
We went to Dave and Courtney’s house for the Megan and Peter after wedding party.
Apparently we just missed a big scene.
Someone got cut, and the ambulance came and took her to the hospital.
The cigar section.
Shameless self promotion.
OK, time for us to go.
The reservoir was overflowing, but only three years ago, it looked much worse.
On the way to the next party, we made some stops, this one at Hops.
They don’t brew the beer, but the do pour local beers.
So we watched the Preakness Stakes….
Then made our way to the next party.
Check out the bidet.
Behind this wall lies…..
A hidden closet.
Sterling Krauss lives with Dr.ew, and he and I enjoyed a game of Halo 2.
OK, that’s enough of this party, time for the next one.
Our next party happened to be a Velvet Revolver concert.
You can’t take cameras into the concert, but you can take a camera cell phone!!!
And on top of that, we all got VIP seating!!!
How did we get VIP seating!!!
Well let me tell you….
Mark has the super secret hook-up.
Yeah Mark, you rock!!!!!
After the show it was more partying at our house.
VIP passes activate!!!
Basil and Rosemary for Kelli’s cooking.
We wore full 7mm wetsuits, as the water was around 60-65°F.
It was my birthday….
And Kelli got me a really cool gift!!!!
A metal detector for finding stuff when we’re at the beach.
In celebration of my birthday, we went to the pub for a few beers with friends.
Jenny gave me a birthday rub down.
Later that night, Kelli took me to dinner at the Wild Orchid Cafe.
Isn’t she a great wife!!!!
Dinner was fantastic….
And so was my birthday dessert.
Thank you Kelli for a wonderful night.
Yard saling the next day for junk.
Find Kelli.
You might be a redneck.
Oh yeah!!!!!
Being it was my birthday weekend extravaganza, we headed to the beach for more partying.
We met up with John and had a few beers.
His buddy Brian stopped by to join the fun.
Scarecrow was also there for the festivities.
He had never seen his tattoo on his neck before, so I took a picture and showed it to him.
We left John’s and went back to our condo to have some more fun.
Jenny and Rob weren’t doing anything, so they came down to celebrate with us.
Rob and hung out on the deck….
While John and Brian went to get sushi.
John almost passed out after that, so he and Brian went home.
But the girls gave Rob and I the green light to go drink without them.
In the morning, we went to Bagel’s and Bun’s for breakfast while Kelli laid on the beach.
After breakfast, we did some shopping at South Moon Under.
When we got back, Jenny and Rob stayed in the condo….
While I went and checked on Kelli.
She came back up….
And we headed over the 98.1FM at Seacrets.
The day before I won a T-shirt for knowing Fenway Park was the smallest MLB stadium.
After collecting the shirt, we decided to stay for a drink.
Yeah, good decision.
Product placement.
Rob reflects on Kelli and I….no wait, that’s the other way around.
Jenny had just applied her lover lipstick.
“Immature”, yes….fun, you betcha.
Music was provided by Innasense.
On our way out we all posed for a picture.
Some more goofy than others.
Of course, we were just goofy in general that weekend.
We made a stop in Easton for food and beer…..
And were amazed at how the silverware was magnetized.
The was a cool lightning storm….
And I got these shots from the bedroom window.
It’s that time of the year again to take off Rob’s Jeep top.
It’s the only real reason people drive a Jeep.
Rob talked Brian into going out for a beer.
On the way out we said hello to Lisa and Aaron.
Brian tried to escape, but I kept a close eye on him.
I dig the sense of movement.
Hey why not a self portrait while I’m at it.
On the way home, another sense of movement.
Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan, but no cameras here either.
I happened to have my phone with me again….
So I was able to get a few pictures….
Of the wonderful Bowie Baysox Stadium.
Skip and Scarecrow were working the show, so we said hello to them.
Now this Gaelic Storm concert at Centennial Park in Howard County does allow cameras.
Kelli and I packed a picnic….
And enjoyed some wine and good music.
Find Kelli.
Some friends were there, too.
Hey, these guys were in the movie Titanic.
“Hey, you know these guys were in Titanic?”…Ah yes, but thanks.
The moon was looking quite cool….
And so was this guy….
And this gal!!!!!
We stopped by my mother’s house to say hello….
Then went over to y other mother’s house.
Ming with the ding-a-ling.
Kelli, being the good wife she is, weeded the garden.
The old camera went up for sale on ebay, now that I have the new one.
Jeff Nauman was in town, so we all went out to meet him.
I think he was asking for directions to the bathroom.
Jeff was playing with my camera to see how it worked….
And I asked him to get a few shots of us.
I suppose I should include one of him, too.
I actually took a bunch, and he might use one for his head shot on his website.
Back inside, and I couldn’t find where Kelli was hiding.
Now Scott was taking his turn taking pictures.
Why does his tongue match his shirt?
I kept this shot because of how sassy Kelli looks.
From La Palapa, went to get some pizza.
And Jeff took pictures on the way there.
The moon, again.
A bitchin’ cool sunset.
We ate our grub, then went home.
After a Spring like that, Kelli was tired, but I snuck one more of her as a closing shot….
A picture of her sleeping with the moonlight falling on her.
