On our way to Vegas, Kelli and I ran into Jeff Mueller, an old high school friend.
Las Vegas, is there anywhere that even comes close?
We were hungry from travel, so decided to have a little late night snack.
Our room for the weekend before the Skillsoft Meeting.
Kelli came to stay for the days before the meeting started….
And left on Valentine’s day….
But until then, no work, and all play!!!!!
We did hook up with some of my work folks for dinner one night on the strip.
Laughing off the anxiety of who is going to pay for dinner.
This was the view from our room.
We both spent a lot of time there because we were sick with the flu all weekend.
So we laid around and……
Ordered lots of food.
We also tried to keep from getting too dirty.
There were some meetings on Sunday…..
With a party that night. Click here for a short Movie
Kelli was invited to join the fun.
Doug and I won awards…..
Mike didn’t, and just had to pretend
Changing of the guards. Kelli leaving in the morning, and Steve Cornell becomes my new roommate.
With Kelli sick in bed, it was time to hang with the guys.
Dan shows off his man-ly assets.
Valentine’s day, and Kelli and I enjoy breakfast in bed before she leaves to go home.
At dinner that night with some of the “cool” guys I work with at SkillSoft.
Nothing like free booze to bring a company together.
There was a blues brothers theme for the evening….
But Mike decided to play a different role.
Poker at midnight in Las Vegas.
There was some work that needed to be done, as Darren demonstrates….
And some dressing up, as Steve and I demonstrate….
But mostly these meetings are about drinking…..I mean celebrating.
Dinner for the big night was three courses. This is the salad….
This was the main course….
And this was dessert.
Most rated the food around 3.5 on a 5 point scale.
My boss won the “boss of the year” award……your guess is as good as mine.
As these chaps are showing you, it’s Fukcing 3:30 in morning and we’re still drinking!!!!
The next day, and we’re on the bus going to the strip.
Tonight was a relaxed night of dinner wherever you wanted.
So we got off the bus at the Bellagio….
Walked through a Vegas haze….
And found ourselves in Caesar’s Palace.
We were initially disoriented by the lights and increased oxygen levels….
And I almost spent too much on Kelli here…..
But we were finally able to find our restaurant for the night.
Bill bought some drinks….
Then we sat and ordered dinner.
Losing all our money has made us blue.
Dinner at Boa, the ahi tuna.
Ok, that’s all for now, but in true Vegas fashion, you can see that I’m going to have to reschedule my flight!!!
