Arriving in a mostly empty airport, I decided to practice my hammer throw.
Instead of staying in a hotel, Skillsoft rented houses for us to share.
We were supposed to have a nice meeting area, but had to make use of the house instead.
Of course, the big screen was good for gaming as well.
At the BBQ the first night, and Scott Trumpower shows off the clock he got.
Everyone in, the movie is about to begin.
The group pose.
A picture of a picture in the making.
It was time for the hottie challange.
Not wanting to participate in the guy game, others enjoyed a game of poker.
The chips were down, and the bets were high.
I was hungry, and figured everyone else was too.
So I cooked….
And they ate.
No thanks, I pass on the banana.
It wasn’t all work while we were in Orlando, FL….
While we didn’t go here….
We did go here.
The tram ride in, and most are hung over.
Quintessential Disney.
My favorite ride. The way you drop, there are about 2 seconds of zero G.
They liked it too.
This is the “Aerosmith sold out” roller coaster.
Too cheap to buy the picture….
So I took a picture of theirs.
Roller coaster, it’s the first thing that comes to mind when I think Aerosmith.
All this, and we still couldn’t figure out where to go next.
How to get your picture with Mickey WITHOUT standing in line.
Outside the Star Tours ride, I tried to look like your typical tourist.
Scott gets into the act also.
Yes Don, you can play too.
At the Pearl Harbor interactive demonstration, a few SkillSoft folks volunteered.
Chuck was told to sit still and not look to his left.
That’s where the water would come from.
Sucker.
The rest of the crew did stuff on the boat…
While various water cannons went off.
When it was all done, there was a low budget movie put togther that showed all the various pieces of what they just did. CLICK HERE to see the movie.
We took the “back lot” tour….
This one actually startled me.
Which included a simulated flood.
After that, it was back to the tour of terror for more fun.
Then it was off to find the perfect mullet.
Lunch was to be had…..
On the company tab of course.
Mark ponders the size of the bill.
Then it was time for more Tower of Terror. Do you see what I snuck into the picture?
The next day, it was back to training.
The grease from several pounds of bacon cooked the night before.
But that night, there was plenty of time to party.
We came back to the house, and tried to kill the rest of the food….
While playing some more poker.
Mark shows us how he eats a pickle….
And Mike shows how he drinks a red bull.
Somehow “cool” and that look don’t go together.
Hey James, can I get you another drink?
I went to bed at the early hour of 2:15am, but….
The closing shot shows that there was still mischief to be had!!!!
