This fall started with Mike and I watching some Monday night football…
He even made snacks!!!!
Hi Mom!!
Kelli and I got dressed up for her birthday surprise.
I took her out to dinner on….
We toasted to her turning twenty-eleven years old.
The dinner cruise ship “The Odyssey”.
They do a tour from haines point down the river and back.
DC made a nice backdrop for a great night!!!
The food was very good, and I highly recommend them.
One more treat before we move onto the next pictures!!!
Click to add a captionA picture I took for my Neighboorhood website, which I maintain.
I bought this for Kelli, but she never even had one piece.
A week after the hurricane came through town, Rob and I went down to Ocean City to check for damage.
Find Rob.
While we were there, we went to a wine festival.
There were only 5 or 6 wineries, so we had a bottle….
Took some pictures….
Ran into some friends….
Then left and went shopping for good sales.
These guys were looking for the five finger discount sales.
I’m sure most of you have either heard of these, or been to them….
It’s the medieval restaurant where the whole Knight spectacle takes place in front of you.
Each area is a different color….
So as the arena is prepared for the knights to enter…
You cheer for the knight that matches your color….ours was green.
There’s lots of fan fare…
And of course, “It’s good to be the king!!!”
The King’s daughter looks like she needs to be taxed.
Like a good woman, she wanted to be called “wench”.
There was lots of drama….
And action…
But our guy lost in the end, so who cares.
A day at Kings Dominion with the rents.
We’re trying to bring to life the dead body he has in his trunk.
And had henna put on for the festivities.
Laurie was in town for an Indian wedding…
It took three pictures before she smiled.
Some art-sy pictures of Kelli.
She can be a good subject when she wants to be.
Remember the hurricane damage?
Well, they’re here to replace the slider.
Ah, saying goodbye to redneck livin’!!
I wanted to buy a new printer for printing my own photos…
Rob and I went to Circuit City, took some pictures and started printing…
I ended up buying the HP Photosmart 7960, and let me say, it rocks!!!!!!!!
With it getting colder….
It was time to put the top back on….mano!!!
No no no, seriously, pull my finger!!
A goodbye party for Shakes, and the ladies all seem to want him.
We all had a great time…
Even Rob!!!
Rob helps Kelli out with a tight leg.
And that’s just the way we felt.
Hey, it’s Maryland Maniac Mike!!!
We meet up with him and some others for some tailgating and Maryland football.
Kellii played with the kids….
But they were too fast for her.
Find Kelli.
Not a full house, but a rowdy bunch nonetheless.
Maryland takes the field!!
Fear the turtle!!!!!!
I forgot to mention, Mike had passes for he and his brother to stand on the sidelines.
I think he just wanted to be closer to the cheerleaders.
Check out the rainbow!!
This is your child.
This is your child on too much sugar.
That’s Mike and Dave between the uprights.
It’s up, it’s good!!!
Nothing like good college spirit.
After the game, we all hung out and had a few more beers before heading out.
They wanted me to take a picture and print it….done!
The slider was fixed, but not the roof.
I had these guys come by and take care of fixing it for me.
Rob and I were from the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
What would fall be without all this color.
I had to have at least a couple shots of the foliage.
This time I took the art-sy one while she was sleeping.
The romantic in me coming through!!!!
Rob and I went down to OC for the night….
With a bottle of rum….
and a desire to have some good times!!
Does anyone know this man?
It’s famous author James Patterson…
Or is it Mr. Magoo?
Some self portaits…
Creepy, but I really like it.
Me after a night of drinking. (photo by Brian Shadrick)
Still cleaning up after that F**king hurricane….
I had to replace the railing in the corner. I lowered the rail so you can see out when you’re in the hot tub.
Kelli won this from Godiva.
It was time to eat!!!!!
Hanging out with Jeff, Brian, and Jake one night….drinking of course.
On our way to get the Christmas tree, and I’ve stolen Mathew’s dog.
We got our tree from Greenway Farms.
While Mathew cut his…..
And provided entertainment….
Kelli went and grabbed some poinsettias.
So they wrapped up Mathew’s tree….
And we threw his and ours in the back of the truck for the ride home.
Our tree was in a ball, and we’ll be planting it in the yard next year.
Well, that’s all, so from the whole Habicht family to you, happy Thanksgiving!!!!
Pam Shriver’s Charity Tennis Challenge.
So Kelli and I hung and watched the first match….
It was a good match….
With lots to keep me occupied.
But we were ready for the main event.
Andy Roddick vs. James Blake.
The first set, they kinda goofed off.
But Andy saw to it that he won in the end.
My names Andy Roddick and I came to say that I’ll kick Blake’s butt any time of day.
GUYS, OVER HERE!!!! SIGN MY BALLS!!!!
Anyone remember these days?
When the Raven’s cheerleaders came out, the crowd starting throwing inflatable dolls at them.
Isn’t tennis great??
For all the ladies…
A couple shots of James.
Before the wine party, Kelli and I have a tradition of me decorating the tree while she cooks all the food for the party.
I make her hang a few ornaments.
It snowed right before the party, but that didn’t stop us from having it.
It just weeded out the people who didn’t really want to have fun anyway.
By two hours in, the party was in full swing.
Up in NH, again, for training, again.
A cold morning run in Haines Point.
The sculpture The Awakening.
Take the picture already, I’m COLD!!!
Kelli has taken over the dinning room with her stamping…
And I can’t stand the mess….
So I bought her a couple of fold out tables….
And rearranged her office.
Dig the sunset!!!
One morning after a run, we went to see Maryland football coach Ralph Friedgen speak.
“We rock, and we’re going to the Gator bowl!!!”
“Ah yes, I will be taking any offers to play in the NFL.”
My company christmas party.
While I stepped away, Kelli took some pictures.
After the surgery, they’ll be this big!!
Thurston Howell III.
Yes, all the men please come sit on my lap and tell me what you want for Christmas.
Me drinking….Never.
Step away from the good lookin’ woman there, buddy.
My Father, brother, and I went out in the woods with the dogs.
This was where the first cache was…
See it now?
To get to it, we skipped the trail and climbed straight up the side of the hill.
Belle was put back on the leash becasue she ran off for 10 minutes.
The second cache of the day….
Check out what we scored!!!!
It was this easy to find, yet took us 15 min of searching.
An informal Christmas party at the pub.
The usual suspects were in attendance.
We we’re enjoying the coming holidays.
Some a little more than others.
There’s a Grinch in every crowd.
There was also a gift exchange.
There’s the gift I grabbed…
I got the shot glasses, Kelli got the “Holy Grail”!!!
Well that’s all for the fall. For those of you who keep asking, it took me 2.5 hours to do these!! See ya next time!!!
