With Spring under way, Kelli and I didn’t waste anytime starting the celebrations.
This one was a “leaving the company” party for Heather Swann.
On a later date, at my brothers house, we had a cheerios stacking competition ( I won).
Brian, not satisfied with just vacuuming the floor, decides to replace the carpet with hard wood.
I think he just wants to say he laid his floor!!
I wonder who took this picture?
This was on the front page for a while, and I will confirm for you now, she is wearing a top….
Of course, for the right money, it might not stay on.
This just looks like trouble!!!!!
And as this picture shows, it was. (The picture they’re looking at is a…well, you figure it out.)
Rob, as always, picking up on some dame.
Kelli hanging out with her alt.fashion news group friends.
I have no idea what is going on in this picture.
My grandmother hates it when you call her Estelle Getty.
Opening day at at the “O’s” game.
Brian was cool enough to score tickets (See them below home plate?).
So we hung out and had some beer…
And some more….
Well, what else is there to do at a ball game?
Of course, we were still waiting for the game to start.
But after Governer Ehrlich threw out the first pitch, we were ready to watch some baseball…
But Mother Nature had other plans!!!
Yes, that’s snow..
But we made the best of it. (Dave says, “hi mom”)
Kelli stuck it out through the cold…
and the snow.
Raven’s stadium from Camden Yards.
When the snow got too much, we headed inside for, you guessed it, more drinks.
Brian had already put away his gay pride flag by the time I took this picture.
Kelli and I left the game early, but the rest of the guys stayed.
A stranger decided to invite himself over to use the hot tub one night.
The person on the far left behind the blue jacket is Kelli.
Robyn came to town, so…
We all went out to meet her when she came.
Kelli’s sister…she was acting up, so I kicked her out of bed.
John Steven Svehla Fundraiser.
A bunch of us from the brew pub went out to the event.
There were drinks and music throughout the evening.
That’s John’s father on the left.
Did you ever see the movie deliverance?
Kelli seemed to be having a good time that night…
Maybe too good of a time!!!
Ask Tim and he’ll tell you he thinks about baseball a lot.
These were some baby spiders I found behind my house.
This is how I took the picture.
The things I do to bring pictures to you people.
English Rob took this picture at the deck party.
Easter morning, and Kelli has some treats for me…
Isn’t she the best!!
Dinner that night was at my Mum-in-law’s.
Yet another night out, this one is a goodbye party for English Rob.
See what american culture has done to him.
It funny what you catch on camera sometimes.
Piss off!!!!
Of course, what would a night out with us be without some drinking.
We were sad to see him go…
But we’ll just have to make a trip to England to see him!!!
This cat loves to hang out in my backyard and watch the birds.
Hanging out in OC for the weekend with Kristi and Pete.
We’re there to celebrate Cousin Barb’s birthday.
And we’re just waiting at the restaurant bar for everyone to show up.
Always a good time in OC.
Barb didn’t want to share the cake, so she took it all for herself.
They also serve pork.
It turns out it was kite week at the ocean…
And there were some really cool ones.
That’s a SCUBA diver.
Notice anything missing?
Once every 3-4 years I shave the goatee and side burns to see what I look like….
By keeping the mustache, I’d say I look like a dork!!
No goatee or side burns.
After I built the deck, I couldn’t see the feeders anymore, so I raised them up.
Now you can see them without having to look through the railing.
I just finished planting my garden, I’ll post another picture at the end of the summer so you can see the difference.
Found this snake in my basement stairwell.
Brian and Scott pitchin’ shoes in the backyard. This one happened to be a ringer.
See.
Yes, there is one of these pictures from every bar.
May the 5th, better known by marketing executives as “Cinco de Mayo”.
Kristi and I felt compelled to sing La Bamba.
Some baby robins in our front yard.
Caught enjoying a pipe and some wine.
Brian hanging out at Drew’s bonfire.
Of course with all the rain, the fire wasn’t lighting, so…
It was time to bring in the heavy equipment.
Maybe a little paper down there for good measure.
Hey go figure, Gasoline worked!!!
I think those types of cups only come in red.
I see a bonfire and I’m going to wear some black.
These guys are smiliing a little to much with their arms around my girl.
Now dats re-dic-a-ris!!!
Drew also had some food there, he was even cool enough to get veggy stuffs for us rabbits.
Rob Zombie.
Rob tries to start his own circle of conversation.
I was trying to get a picture of Danny jumping over the fire, but it was to dark.
Bender, however, just stood in the fire.
Mother’s Day, and Kelli is having the family over for Brunch.
It’s peanut butter and jelly for everyone.
No, she actually made a really good breakfast. (Kristi supplied the fruit bowl and Erin and Mathew brought the Champagne).
Then we all hung out on the deck for a while.
Kelli and I were out one day and came across this fire.
It was exciting, and it was just a barn, so don’t worry no one was hurt.
A reflective moment.
Kelli and I went to a wedding for an old friend of hers from graduate school.
Dan and Noelle were happy to pose for me.
She also went to school with Chan, and he’s the one getting married.
Hanging out at the bar…..again.
We ran into John Shoemaker, a fellow 1990 Centennial graduate.
My birthday, and Kelli took me out to dinner.
Birthday wishes!!!
On the way home we stopped at my grandparents house and said hello.
Kelli being a good wife by tending to the household needs.
On my way home from a meeting in Arlington, VA, I stopped by the cemetary for a quick picture of the Iwo Jima memorial.
Going down to the MVA….Why you ask?
So Chris Jacob can get his motorcycle license.
The guy in front of Chris had no problems…
Chris however, did not do as well.
This was taken right before she asked him to turn off the bike.
He didn’t pass this time, but he took it on my bike, not his. I guess I’ll let him use that as an excuse.
Kelli doing her stamping, what a mess!!!
A night out with Beth and Steward.
Yes, beer always makes for fun times.
Yard sale-ing with the out-laws.
A Saturday morning found my brother and I hanging out at Drew’s (Andy for you old school folks) place for paintball.
Drew’s brother Paul makes sure the guns aren’t shooting to fast.
The game begins, and the hunters enter the woods.
Drew makes a run for it.
Mathew demonstrates proper use of a belt.
Mathew Demonstrates how to duck for cover.
Mathew demonstrates how to show you’ve just been shot.
Hot, dirty, and out of the game.
Paul climbed a tree and took out the entire other team single handedly.
It was a great day for paintball, no doubt about it!!!
Did I mention that if the balls don’t break, they tend to leave a mark.
Father’s day, and Megan had the family over for brunch.
This was supposed to be a picture of Megan and Peter, but Kristi steals the show.
With full stomachs, we all just loafed around.
Ham-ing it up for the camera.
Caught!!!
Dave shows Mark where to find porn on the internet.
One of Mathew’s hobbies is playing with RC cars.
This car goes about 45 miles/hour.
He drove it right between my legs so I could get this shot.
His truck is not as much for speed….
As it is for jumping and off-road action.
Of course, the jumps need to get bigger.
Ming the ding-a-ling.
My M.C. Escher impersonation.
Rob decided to join me.
What could this box contain?????
My new camera!!!!! A Nikon coolpix 5700.
It came with this cool case for all my extras. Chauncey couldn’t resist being curious.
Self portrait with the black and white feature of the new camera.
I went to DC for the day to vist Kelli while she worked….
And we went out with Jules and Susan that night.
As always, looking great!!!
From one bar to the next, we weren’t going to let the rain bother us.
The Brickskeller menu….over 400 beers from around the world.
Kelli working at her conference.
Playing with the macro lens, I found this bug in a flower.
They come from miles around to fatten up on ice cream.
Kelli’s office in DC. I took this picture without her knowing.
Rob and I mess with the shutter speed. Well, it’s been a long Spring with lots of pictures (547 didn’t make the cut). Hope you enjoyed!!!
