Dinkle, locked, loaded, and ready to go.
We stopped to pick up a port-o-bender. They’re great for weekend bending when you’re not at home.
We saved Mathew from busting up palettes…..
Needless to say he was happy to leave early with us.
After arriving, we made a quick run for supplies….
But then it was time to relax.
After a shower, Mat was also ready to relax.
Mathew and I became addicted to this snowboarding game. Six hours straight on Saturday afternoon.
The face of an addict.
Doing the final prep work before going out…..
But looking at the clock, it was clearly time to go to a bar….
So Rob chilled and strained a couple….
And we slammed one before rollin’ out.
We spent the rest of the weekend looking for a sign with “hew” in it.
Our first bar, Peppers, and my guinness is almost ready.
Yes, there is one of these pictures from every bar.
He’s a pinball wizard, there’s got to be a twist.
Mathew actually got the highest score out of the three of us.
The men’s room was nasty, so I wanted to see what the women’s room looked like. Notice the potpourri in the corner.
At Peppers, they sold all kinds of hot sauce….
Yes, all kinds.
Yes, even the brothers drink guinness.
Because it was guys weekend, Kelli and Erin were not allowed.
A few pictures back, Mathew started a theme. Can you find it?
A gay guy at Brass Balls Saloon gave Mathew a red light….Look where he put it.
Another bar, another beer.
I’ll take things people do when they’re drunk for $500.
By this point, we were getting the munchies, so we grabbed a slice of Tony’s Pizza.
I’ve used their service many times…They’ll even deliver to your bar.
Last bar for the night.
Rob looks like he’s done.
Mat wanted to walk back….40 blocks at 1am….needless to say he was vetoed.
He was so proud of the red light.
Mat was sleeping on the futon…
But wanted to sleep on the dark side of the curtain.
Me working. Yes, for those of you who think I don’t work, I had to work over the weekend.
Saturday breakfast. That’s me sneaking in on the left.
Down to the boards for Springfest, and it turns out there were a lot of people in OC.
Sign of the times.
Yes, even guy’s weekend needs nourishment.
Prepping for another night out.
It looks like if you work here, you get 50% of the time off.
One bar tonight, Mellow Beach.
Five minutes until tomorrow….
So these are the last beers of the day….
But with money on the bar, and 2 hours to go, more beer is not a problem.
Shortly after Mathew declared, “I can’t see straight.”
Rob talks to a man about a horse….
And the man tells him it’s time to do laundry.
Mathew tries to write his name with a bottle of water. Now let me tell you about a bridge in Brooklyn I own.
Don’t ask.
I just got done telling Mathew to watch out for the pizza, only to drop it myself.
After a quick cleanup, Mathew was more than happy to eat the pizza.
It’s 1:30am, and we are hooked on this game.
Well, the weekend has come to an end, and we had a great time….
If we could just get out of town!!
