Ryan and I get ready to go to OC for the second annual Delmarva Bike Week.
150 miles and 3.5 hours later, it’s Guinness time.
I thought this would be a good time to defrost the fridge, but we needed a place to put the beer so…….
We used the “frost” from the freezer to pack the beer in the sink. (Ryan’s idea)
Ryan, enjoying his dinner in a safe manner.
Ryan shows me where he found a mermaid once.
I then fooled him by saying, “Look, there’s one now!”
We then went back to the condo, and relaxed a little before heading out for the night.
We walked 6 blocks south to the start of the boardwalk (28th street) and decided to take the tram down to the bars on 3rd and 4th streets.
The guy driving told us that the only thing that Jeep has ever done is pulled the tram.
49581 miles divided by the 4.5 mile round trip equals 11018 trips…..on only the boardwalk.
After all that math, it was good to see the bartender had a couple Guinness waiting for us.
So we thanked him and enjoyed. Mmmmmmm Guinness.
Boyd is my Grandmothers maiden name.
We then went to another bar for dancing and drinking, then headed for home.
This chic we found on the boardwalk had also been drinking. Walking, however, was a different story.
Ryan was drinking too. Can you guess why he is now behind a dumpster at 3am?
The next (Ryan) day we went to the bike festival to see all the bikes.
I’m trying to hide the fact that my bike is a Yamaha.
As we walked, we found a lot of kick ass bikes.
The stripe on this orange one was Speed Racer cool.
I’m a sucker for the ghost flames.
Now this is practical.
Nothing like a custom paint job to say, “Look at me.”
This bike was for sale…..$55,000.
It’s difficult to see in this picture, but the foot pegs are an eagle’s talons.
The super star disco trike.
Knowing I had a long ride ahead, I took a break from the sights to get a neck rub.
In the spirit of 9-11.
This bike belongs to a chic.
This bike has some weird mid 80’s style to it.
OK, this bike is B-I-G BIG!! That’s a V8 under the gas tank.
Look at the size of the rear tire on this thing.
Finished with looking at the bikes, Ryan and I head for home.
Ryan gives the weekend of fun a thumbs up.
